Chapter 2: No Longer a Doctor

Emma Pov:

I wake up in a hospital room with bright fluorescent lights shining in my face. I faintly see a woman listening to my heart with a stethoscope.

"Hello Allison, it's okay you're in the hospital" the doctor says to me

"What?" I asked confused

My eyes start to focus and I notice that it's Doctor Hadley standing above me!

"Dr. Hadley?"

"Hi Dr. Cameron, everything is going to be okay"

"Where am I?" I ask even though I think I may know

"You are back in Princeton Plainsboro, it's been awhile since we've seen you or heard from you"

"Oh, well I don't exactly practice medicine anymore"

She pulls up a monitor next to me

"Okay well you have a bit of whip lash and some superficial face lacerations. Your head CT was clear but you may experience some headaches. No broken bones but your knee has a bit of swelling so you will need to wear a brace for awhile"

"Good, thank you"

"And the baby is fine and looks healthy"

I blank out for a second

"Excuse me? What baby!"

"Oh sorry I thought you knew, you are two months along. We saw it in the blood work"

I stare at Doctor Hadley with my eyes wide. My mind flashes back to Camelot about two months ago. I had just turned Killian into the dark one. We were in the forest, I was kissing him to help him forget about the demons in his head. Well basically, we ended up doing it in the middle of a field of flowers. Now I'm pregnant.

"Hello! Dr. Cameron!" Thirteen says waving her hand in front of my face

"Sorry sorry I was just....."

"Well I was saying that I paged a cardiologist to check out your heart. I'm seeing a slight arrhythmia but it could be because of the pregnancy"

"Yes I know"

"Right sorry, you're a doctor"

"Do you happen to know about anyone else in the accident." I question

"Well there are a lot of John Does and Jane Does. You were one of the only ones we identified. The cars were pretty badly destroyed near the back of the accident"

"Can you check if there is a teenage boy"

"I'll check the computers"

Thirteen walks over to the computer and I sit up in my bed. My head is sore as well as my knee. I need to know what happened to Henry and everyone else.

"Yes there was only one teenage boy in the accident. He is in surgery, there is no update on his condition currently"

"Okay okay"

"Well the cardiologist should be here soon, we are a bit short staffed"

"Thank you Dr. Hadley"

"You're welcome and make sure to wear your knee brace. It was nice to see you"

"You too, bye"

She leaves me alone in the room. About 5 minutes later the door opens revealing a blonde male doctor with a familiar Australian accent.
