Chapter 1 He's very quiet

Shayla's P.O.V.
Hi my name is Shayla Marie, I go to Marino high, I usually show the new students around but a new student hasn't popped up in years until today which is why I'm so excited. I went into the main office and there he was. He had a light brown hair, tinted skin, and electric blue eyes with gold sparkles in them...o my lord his eyes...anyway...He was standing right infront of me...I looked at him again then enetered the office door.

Mr.park: *gets out of office while I follow him* Shayla this is Alvin James...Shayla, Alvin, Alvin, Shayla

I held out my hand but he wouldn't budge so i just put my arms to my side.

Shayla: hi Alvin, I'm Shayla and I will be showing you around Marino high now I know that you don't talk that much but will you at least take my hand so I can show you the school

Alvin: *holds out his hand*

Shayla: *takes his hand* see that wasn't that bad

-15 minutes later-

Shayla: and finally that is our school cafeteria*whispers* but our food is actually decent so don't be scared to eat it

Alvin: mhmm

Shayla: okay let's look at your schedule

Alvin: *hands schedule to Shayla*

Shayla: *takes it* mhmm...oh awesome you have first period with me come on health partner *pokes his shoulder* yah...*stops poking him* no...okay *reaches for his hand* come on

Alvin: *takes Shayla's hand*

Alvin and Shayla: *walk to class*

-in class-

Mr.Shnider: So today students we have a new classmate Alvin please stand up so people know who you are

Alvin: *starts shaking*

Shayla: *whispers* don't worry I got you *stands up* class this is Alvin, Alvin this is your marine bio class

Mr.Shnider: Shayla are you Alvin

Shayla: no, but I know for a fact that Alvin is shy so he rarely talks...look I know my name isn't Alvin but I'm trying to help him out here to make sure he doesn't go in to shock or faint! I'm sorry that he doesn't talk but it's not his fault he was born that way and he's perfect just the way he is so don't get mad at him because he didn't talk but be glad because he's new and chose this school!*sits down*

Class: *applauds Shayla*

Mr.Shnider: you have a point

Shayla: *whispers sarcasticly* don't I always

Alvin: *looks at Shayla and shakes his head*

Mr.Shnider: anyway class today we are going to create a project about babies so pair up with a partner and I will give you a baby you will take care of it for a week which means you guys have to spend lots of time together with eachother so pair up

Shayla: Alvin wanna be my partner

Alvin: *nods his head*

Shayla: yayyyyyy!

Alvin: *shakes his head almost laughs but instead coughs to act like he wasn't laughing*

-after 10 minutes of Mr.Shnider walking around and assigning babies to partners he finally comes to the last group Shayla and Alvin-

Mr.Shnider: *comes up to Shayla and Alvin* hmm...*looks at the babies he has and picks up one that has a light caramel skin tone, hazel brown eyes,  long beautiful wavy hair, and dressed in baby blue clothing* here this one looks perfect for you two *hands her to Shayla*
