"You horrible child!" Her dad was yelling at her from across the room, he walked over and yanked her down. "I would be better without you in my life!" Amber screeched. Her mom came down the stairs and gasped. She raised her arm and slapped Amber across the back. "Ahh!" Amber fell down on the floor. "I think no food for 5 days." Her mom declared. Amber was furious. All she did was get a 86% for a test. She thought that everyone in the world hated her. She ran up to her room, shoving her dad out of the way. "Stay away from me!" She yelled back at them.
"We are coming." Her mom said. "Unlock the door right this second, you slob!"
That was it. Amber was done, with having to take demands from any person. "No." Amber called out, calmly. "You are nothing without us!" Her mom said.
Amber grabbed a bag out from under her bed. She had all of her things in it. She opened the window and threw her stuff in the tree right next to it. She jumped into the tree and climbed down. She looked back at the house, and walked away, into the woods.
"Goodbye, horrible, retched life." Amber walked out into teh woods, knowing that she was the smartest 12 year old in the class.
