What if I told you I loved you ?

What if i said I love you?

The young boy twirled the cane in his hand as he walked towards the distance slowly fading as the sun sets, painting the sky a burning orange color as if the sky and clouds were set on fire. The boy kept walking one of his hands in his pocket, his gentleman top hat slightly slanted to the right of his head revealing a  hint of red hair on his darkened black hair, his black vest slightly open and with every step his red tie bounced a bit against his chest, his glasses slightly dropping over the bridge of his nose.  The girl watched the young boy walk away her velvet red hair flowing like a small river in the light breeze her heart beating rapidly as if someone was playing drums with breaks in between where she felt her breath being caught, she couldn't explain why she felt the way she felt about the boy, as if he took a piece of her heart with just a glance and a slight smile. Little did the two know that their hearts had magically laced a small thread of red string around both their hearts holding them together, the boy spoke to him self as he felt the same emotions as the girl " I guess our hearts will always be together, there truly is no greater magic than true love, but i wonder what you would say if i told you, I love you" the boy whispered as he spun the cane one last time into the air and just as the sun completely set the boy had vanished and in his place where his hand would have been to catch the twirling cane, it fell towards the ground but instead of the cane landing, in it's place laid a gorgeous blackish red  rose instead. The girl walked to it picking it picking up the rose, she gently raised it to her nose smelling the sweet fragrance that it gave off, then slowly as if some how time would stop and bring the boy back, she placed the rose to her heart as a tear gently currases her cheek, it reached her lips it felt like gentle kiss disappearing as it reached her cheek landing on the rose.
