Bat family Hospital AU

Chapter 1 Introduction

This is just a small idea I had hopefully you like it!! (BTW I don't own the bat family or any of the characters)

Damian's pov

Damian trudged his way towards to his house from school. Opening the door he was half expecting someone to be there. His whole family where doctors or educated to be something along those lines. Stephanie and Cassandra, his sisters, are both nurses. Barbara, also his sister, worked at the front desk because of her unfortunate accident (good that they are doctors). His other sister Kate is a therapist. His dad was a doctor, so are his other two brothers Tim and Dick. His brother Jason however is a surgeon. Damian was normally left with their butler Alfred who also unsurprisingly used to be a doctor after WW2.

"Hey Dami. How's school?" A voice spoke from the kitchen when he shut the door. He immediately recognized as Jason's.
"Aren't you supposed to be operating on a guy with a fractured leg or something?" Damian asked heading to the kitchen. Jason was his favorite brother job wise since he himself wanted to become a surgeon.
"Oh, you mean Dick's best friend Wally. His operation had to be changed due to his injuries being worse than we expected."
"So what happened to him?" Damian never wanted to be a doctor but he loved hearing his family tell what happens there.
"He was sent to get another X-ray also a blood test and to see if there are any other injuries before we do the operation."
Damian nodded his head in understand meant. There was an awkward silent as Damian looked up at the ceiling wondering why his family had to be so big around the medical side of live.
"Oh, I almost forgot why Dad sent me here. He said that he wants you to stay in the hospital today until our shifts are done."
Jason smiled leaving with a sandwich in his hand heading to the living room. Damian sighed why can't he live life like a normal person. Or, since his family are big on the medical factor of life, like superheroes.

Barbara's pov

Barbara sat in her wheel chair typing the recent appointments done. When she heard the door open and turned her face to see Jason wearing his surgeon outfit with Damian next to him wearing normal clothes.
"He's your problem for me the next a million hours or so." Jason joked pushing Damian into the room. Jason left the room to get to his next unconscious patient.
"Well, guess I have you to look after again." Barbara smiled looking at her younger brother.
"TT" Damian said going to his usual place. It was a a large desk with everything he needed a computer, space to do his homework, spare clothes, a bag, spare set of headphones, a few drawers and he even had a doctor's outfit just in case his father or someone else wanted him to help. She rolled her eyes at her younger brother's action. She knew he didn't like the family being on the medical side of life. He always dreamed of us being the heroes from those comic book series. But he knew it was another dream that never ever would happen. Maybe in a different dimension but not this one.

Stephanie's pov

"Steph why?" Cassandra moaned for the millionth time today.
"Because Dad wanted you to check on the patients since you normally only give them treatment or other medical help. He wants to see how you do with the other side of nursing." Stephanie sighed she had explained this to her sister several times.
"But that's your side I don't like talking to patients"
"Cass I know but you would've to talk to dad. Besides this is what nurses have to do." I Stephanie responded she knew her sister hated the idea and would've been better off being a surgeon. However, her grades and mind said nurse.
"Fine. I knew I had to do this at some point." She mumbled storming off her heels clicking on the tiled floor.
"She still moody about the idea." Tim came up behind her squeezing her shoulders a bit.
"Yep!" She sighed again still annoyed with what just happened.
"Don't worry she'll find her feet soon." Tim suggested.
"Hope your right." She put on a fake smile and turned to him. "How do you cheer people up like that?"
"Natural, and talent I guess." Stephanie snorted. Now an actual smile appeared on her face. Tim was her favorite sibling out of all of them because he was so friendly and hilarious when he needs to be.
"Go check on your patients Doctor Tim." She smirked trying not to laugh to much.
"As you command Nurse Stephanie." He bowed playful walking off. Stephanie walked off laughing to herself.

Dick's pov

"He will be fine Artemis trust me." Dick reassured Artemis again.
"But he's so hurt and... and. " She trailed off not wanting to burst out in tears.
"My family is trained for this kind of stuff you know that. Besides you know I would hate anything bad happening to Wally." Artemis sighed seeing that she couldn't do anything and just.
"He will be fine Arty." Zatana appeared out of nowhere.
"How did you get here so quickly?" Dick asked a confused expression creeping on his face.
"A magician never reveals her secrets." She winked.
"As I was saying Jason will help him as soon as possible OK." Dick continued looking at the girls. Artemis nodded.
"Come Arty let's get some rest." Zatana said putting a hand on her friends shoulder. She nodded again as they walked of to Zatana's car.
"She still asking about him?" Bruce appeared behind him with Kate.
"What else do you think she is doing? Besides she is right Wally's been a lot more than a fractured leg. What if he doesn't make it?" Dick sighed he never liked showing his true thoughts to his friends. What if it worried them?
"Just stay positive he will be fine you know that." Kate said offering a small smile. He smiled back. Kate was the eldest out of all the siblings followed by Dick, then Barbara, Jason, Cassandra, Tim, Stephanie and the Damian. She loved and cared about all of them and didn't really have a favorite sibling.
"Come let's go home. Our shifts are over anyway." Bruce said as Dick nodded. They picked up everyone and went their mansion where Alfred had been doing work and other things.
