The Gurrup.

The Faded City

You live in The Limbo. But the Dark Demons call it The Gurrup. Your not sure why that is, but when you first entered you were covered in black oil and they cut off your left arm and gave you two extra eyes. But anyway you just prefer to call it The Limbo.

you arrive in a small faded city living in The Gurrup.

the windows are shattered, many buildings are torn down to just tall structures of bricks and dust. not to mention, the beautiful fractal graffiti of signals and signs; you wonder their meaning, they seemed aged and fresh at the same time, you could still feel the chemical nip in the air of fresh paint.

could there be any others here, or is this complete isolation? you decide on looking around for any slice of life there was. Human life that is, access to paint would he hard, All you could really hear was faded screeching nearby, or you just might be imagining that. You couldn't really see that far because of fog and your basically only left with the clothes on your back and whatever you have with you.

You found a building where it didn't seem like it was damaged too much. You wanted to explore the building to see if there was anyone or thing around. But your unsure on this thought

You decided walk in, grabbing a nearby broken plank of wood to defend yourself if there was any hostilities. you feel a lump in your throat as you spot a silhouette and the strong smell of rot.

You grip your weapon tightly as you approach the silhouette, gagging as the smell gets stronger and flies surround the area. you look down at its dead, mangled body.

You try covering your nose with your shirt or whatever it was but you could still smell it and your almost threw up, so you just stepped past it and explored further and you feel afraid but you sigh and start walking.

You at least have your two legs to run as fast as possible if needed, but combat isn't gonna be so easy with one arm...

Smoke fills the room as you walk into another.

The silhouette is moving. you approach with great caution as they flick their lighter to light another cigarette.

"Breaking and entering, hm? " it says, turning around. you look at them, their face is covered with a gas mask and their clothes are stained with blood. the only part of them you could actually see was their eyes.

"You know, I expected something better out of you. I was told you'd be a sweet and easy kill. Not an intruder."

It stood up and brushed their clothes off, offering to shake your hand.

You kind of glare at it before trying to shake its hand with the board between your index and your thumb which seemed kinda hard to do but your were coughing some because of the smoke. You had no idea what it had in mind probably wanting to kill you right on the spot? Who knows! You don't.

They grin under their mask

"Nice to finally meet you,"

"Don't mind the body. I had a midnight snack.- Say, would you like some tea?"

Their words were jumbled and impatient, likely they were trying to kill you.

You try to say no but not a word comes out. You fixed the board to where you were holding it again for defense in case.

The masked stranger makes you a cup anyways, you notice them dump a powder in to your cup and stir it anxiously

" ...forget what i said earlier."

"i'm no cannibal. that's my brother"

You go to poke the body with the board, not sure why but you do it anyways.

They hand you the cup of tea, sipping their own right after

You look at your arm that was missing then look at the tea you wanting to drink it because of your dry-ish throat but really unsure because of that powder they dumped in the cup.

Their face goes pale and they realize

they drank your tea,

They laugh awkwardly and pass out.

You take a sip of the tea it gave you and quietly hoped it was normal.

its yummie....slurp

You drank most of the tea and you look at the silhouette taking the mask it had. He had 5 eyes and its teeth were razor sharp covered in a little blood. But anyways you take a random bag to put the mask in and you throw a weapon you found in the bag.

You walk out after kicking them, and make your way towards the large city a couple miles away

It took you a while to get to the large city but you eventually made it!
