I open the rusty cabinet door in our new house. They left behind a lot of dirty, old and ugly bed linen in it. I checked them to see if there were any good ones that could go on my bedspread. My dream one would have red roses with the words "Hannah" printed at the top. I found an old checked one, a dirty brown one and green one. I opened the green one up to see if it had any roes' on it. A small brown cardboard package fell out. It said the words, "DO NOT OPEN" on it. I took it to my room which used to be the attic. Plain white walls, a mattress and I small window overlooking the Brisbane River. I slowly open the package. Carefully I rip off the ugly sticky tape. There is nothing in there. What a waste of time. I wonder why someone would go to all the trouble of hiding it and wrapping it up if there was nothing in it. I place my hand on the box and feel something. I take a closer look and still see nothing. I pick it up and it is as soft as cotton. I imagine it to be a cloak so I wrap it around me and walk up and down my room the queen of England. I wave at all the dust particles as if they were people. I must say that the cloak is very warm. It could even be used a a winter jacket back at home in New York. Since my mum is unpacking our boxes I go to her room to look at the cloak in the mirror. Still I see nothing. I go back downstairs to the cabinet to look for any more clues or wierd objects. I open the cleanest piece of linen which has the words invisible all over it. A mini pocket mirror falls out of the linen piece. I grab it and run back upstairs. I examine the mirror and see that someone has embroidered the words "EGARAG" on it. What does that even mean? I open the mirror to examine the inside of it. It looks super clear like someone has just polished it. I look at myself in the mirror - pretty as always. In the background I see a light blue clean blanket on my mattress. I turn around and still don't see anything. Ah, it must be an invisible cloak! It can only be seen by this mirror. It must be a special one. I put the cape around me and look in the big mirror in my Mum's room. I still don't see anything in the mirror so I run back upstairs. I put the light blue clean blanket over my suitcase and guess what, you can't see the suitcase at all! This is gonna be a fun start!

The sun shines brightly into my room the next morning so I run outside. Eva is playing with her dolls and Liv is up in her room chatting to her friends about how disgusting our house is. Eva is singing a song that is sung by Dance Dolls on TV, "ring, leap, singing, jump, kick, turn, and jump, dancin' all day long". I go over the the trampoline to practice my backflips before school starts. I wonder if I will make any new friends at my new school?

"Breakfast is ready", Mum calls. Eva grabs her dolls and runs inside the house. I backflipped off the trampoline and walked slowly inside the house, as if I was hurt. The next minute I hear Liv talking on the phone, "yeah, she's like so cool"! And someone replying. "Yeah, I know, she's totes cool". Mum made us pancakes as a warm welcome to Australia. They tasted delicious but they could use a bit more butter the next time. Mum calls out to Liv saying, "Oliva Renna, come down this instant. Eva and Hannah are waiting for you!" I pour some maple syrup over my pancakes. Sadly they don't have "Hershey's" in Australia. Liv is screaming back to mum saying, "COMING!" After breakfast I run upstairs to my room and grab my cloak. I put it on and very quietly run outside. I decide to do a mini prank on Eva. I grab some of the paint that Dad left in the garage and put it under my cloak. It is all wet and soggy and has dead bugs all over it. I recognize one of them to be a cockroach. Ew! I open the lid and splatter the bucket over Eva's head. I tried super duper hard not to laugh. It was nearly impossible because the look on Eva's face when she whipped off the paint and saw that no one was there. It will teach her for stealing my stamp collection a few months ago when we were back home in NY. She started to look around for suspects of the crime. Obviously she could not see me because I had the invisible cloak around me. Next it was Liv's turn. She was my main target so I had to think of something big. Making ghost noises or cracking rotten eggs over her head or something like that. But those ideas were nothing compared to my next one.
