"Malaysia" my mom screamed banging on my room door. It's 7am I gotta be at school by 8:45 my first class starts at 9:15. I get up rolling my eyes and flicking through my closet looking for something to put together. I look down at my shoes and decide to grab my gold tongue 5s and a white halter top and some high waisted shorts. I'm from Minnesota but now, I live in South Dallas. I love it here, this is my 2nd year living here and I'm a junior in high school. I'm skinny with a small waist. I have 3 friends Asia, Myia, and Jackie. They all have boyfriends and guess what? Ya girl, laysia single. Ya feel me?
* 7:45 am. *
I was now on my way out the door, I have my black and grey Love Pink backpack on my shoulders and I'm walking to catch the bus. For school we get city busses, I have to catch the bus from south dallas to pleasant grove but my school is DEEP in pleasant grove. I stood at the corner waiting for the 34E that takes me right in front of my school. The bus got here within 6 minutes. I seen this boy Jaquan, I believe he had a crush on me cause he was always staring.
*9:15: English with Ms. Rodriguez *
"Today we'll be having a Socratic seminar, but we'll be doing it in the method of a fish bowl" I rolled my eyes. "So here's the partners" she looked down at a piece of paper "Malaysia & Aalieyah, Unique & Reshaunta, Jermar & Allie, ..." I grabbed my binder out of my backpack. "Everyone must speak to get credit, the topic would be on the book "Of mice and men" by John Steinbeck. We get into the Socratic seminar, we end up finishing. My partner is very smart and I like her, my loyalty runs too deep though to be friends with anybody. I just dose off into a deep day dream before I hear the bell ringing and a text from my favorite cousin on my IPhone 6s plus rose gold.
