After meeting with Daniel for an hour, he decided to go because he had some where to be. As he left I turned to Devin and gave him a smile.
"Thank you." I wrapped my arm around his torso, taking him off guard. For some fun I decided to venture into his mind.
She's hugging me, my little angel is hugging me. Gosh, I'm glad I could do this for her. Now it's just her and I. I know you're listening to me, shall we continue what we left off?
His voice bubbled with excitement, but his last words had me confused. I stood there in his arms, bewildered but enjoying his comfort. All too soon I realized what he meant by 'Where we left off' as he pulled me into his lap, my head instinctively resting on his collar bone. I sighed in contentnes, not sure why I felt so attracted to a boy a barely knew.
It was then that it hit me, a searing pain in my temples that sent unpleasant sparks down my nervous system. I let out a scream as my body went numb, I could feel nothing, see nothing, hear nothing. My mind was in a different dimension from my body.
Devin walked into a large room, the walls a polished wood with red tint. There was a large table in the center of the room with five older people sitting at it, all of them in a white gowns. Devin turned to face them, waiting for them to address him as he stood next to Daniel.
"How's the girl?" one white haired man asked the two teenagers.
"She's fallen easy for our facade, she believes we are on her side. She has also taken quit a liking to Mr. Swuave right here." Daniel reported, smirking at his friend.
"Is this true, Devin?" A red headed women asked with pride laced in her voice.
"Yes ma'am. I will have her here in two days time." Devin assured them.
That's when my vision faded out, I could tell by the clarity of it that it was a past event, probably from last night.
My eyes widened in shock and I panted heavily, standing abruptly from Devin's lap. "You tricked me!" I whispered. Tears stung my eyes as he stood up and took a step forward. "Angel, Angel please." He soothed as if he was talking to a frightened animal. I turned to run but felt something grab me from behind.
"Let me go!" I screamed, my voice still raspy from my premonition. The arms slung me over their back, I knew it was Daniel.
The principal will be proud. Daniel thought as he shoved something over my mouth. I looked at Devin in disbelief and fear.
"By the way, you have weird eyes." Daniel sneered. With those words, and the vision of Devin's stony face, I blacked out.
