Climbing out of the GameStop dumpster, Shawn thought to himself,
"I wonder if I can find some games for my PlayStation 9?"
Just then he hears a group of girls walking by, and he hoped they would not see him crawl out of the dumpster.
"Hi," he said as he walked out.
Realizing that Monica his wanted to be girlfriend, every time he sees her he asks her out.
"I love you, Monica." he said, "Will you go out with me?"
"Heck no, Shawn Freeman. You may be a nice guy, but I can't be seen with you. Your, your face, is just ew!" replied Monica.
"Oh, okay," Shawn said sadly.
"I have to go to work now. See you around, Monica," said Shawn.
As he was driving to HTC to test their new phone, he kept thinking that he must not be trying hard enough to get Monica to go out with him. Not paying any attention to the road, he smashed into the back of a pickup. His head hit the wheel before the air bag exploded.
Waking up, he heard beeping. Upon opening his eyes, he discovered himself in the hospital. The doctors explained that he had a gash on his left side of his forehead and a medium concussion. Being released the next day he drives home to rest, since he did not get much sleep at the hospital. All of a sudden, he wakes up to a sharp knock on the door. As he opens it, he sees a cop car out the window to collect his insurance for the wreck. He goes to play Forza Horizon 6 on his PS 9.
Finally, he goes into work to preform tests on the new HTC 15. With all the features it is sad that they are giving it away for free to save their phone business. Taking a sip of a 14 shot expresso coffee as Geek Bench was running, he notices this smell. When he tests it and finds out that it is a chemical called byronamanium which is poisonous.
"Mr. Marty," he says to the designers "we have a huge problem with the design of the phone. It is creating byronamanium gas."
Marty interrupts asking, "Well, what is that and is it harmful?"
"Yes, it is very harmful. We cannot release this to the public," said Shawn.
Agreeing, Marty and Shawn take it to the boss, Eric Mansur. They knock on his door and he said,
"Come on in."
"Well, what can I help you with?" asked Eric.
Shawn explained, "The new HTC 15 is leaking byronamanium gas"
"If you think I am going to listen to you say our phone is faulty when you guys are just a bunch of new hires, I am not," said Eric.
"But, sir, I did all the tests," explained Shawn.
"I also checked them. He is correct," said Marty.
"I do not care. You guys are fired. Anything you say about the company can lead you to prison. Leave my office now," yelled Eric.
Security escorted them out the door and they left for Shawn's house to figure out what they were going to do. They decided they should make a cure because one did not exist. They went to a hardware store and a science supply store. Marty looked up the chemical makeup of byronamanium while Shawn set up a lab to make and test the vaccinations that they make.
"We will probably need heat up the chemicals to get the right mixture."
He went out to get some propane and a burner. When he got back home, Marty was printing off the chemical mixture to byronamanium gas. Since neither of them had a chemistry degree, they did not understand any of it.
