"You be nice to Scottie, he's been through a lot okay." My aunt said as she introduced me to a boy around my age.

I could feel the power radiating from him, even at his age he screamed Alpha.I didn't understand what the point was in introducing us, we weren't going to be best friends, or even friends at that matter. My eyes slowly casted down towards the floor, I already experienced how Alpha kids acted to my kind, it was anything but nice. It didn't matter if my Aunt was mated to the Beta of this pack either, my parents were alphas, my siblings hated me, I was the biggest disappointment in my family. That's why they had abandoned me, I woke up and the pack just seemed to disappear. I had stayed at our cave, my pack being a feral one, until I was chased out by rogues. I was just lucky to stubble upon my Aunt's pack, it had been weeks but I finally saw a familiar face, one that was always kind to me.

"Scottie, will you be okay?" I lifted my head up and starred into concerned brown eyes. I slowly nodded my head causing her face to light up. "Good, I have business to attend to so I want you to stay with Landon until I get back." My face scrunched up in panic, how could she just leave me with a stranger?! "It'll be fine, Landon is thirteen so he's a few years older than you but he's a responsible young man; I love you." My heart swelled at those words, I would never get used to her saying them. "Landon I leave him in your care, don't let him get hurt."

After my aunt gave me a kiss on the forehead and hugged Landon she left me with him. I  looked at my feet, I was obviously at the Alpha's house and I was stuck with Landon for a while now. It was strange at first to be living in a house rather than a cave but this passed month I've gotten used to it, I haven't gone to school yet.

"You're not normal." His voice shocked me and I looked up. His head was tilted to the side and his eyes held curiosity in them. "You smell funny." He said walking over to me causing my eyes to go wide, here it comes. I closed my eyes tightly waiting for that first blow I would receive from the alpha's son. I flinched back when I felt a soft touch on my head. "It's okay." I shyly opened my eyes and watched as he smiled at me. "I like your smell, it's sweet and harmless yet there's a spice to it."

I felt my heart jump as he described my smell. I was used to people telling me I smelled small and weak. I bit my lip as I stared into his dark green eyes, they just made me feel safe.

"Landon!" A voice yelled as someone came running towards us. "Whoa what's that smell?!" The sandy blonde haired boy yelled excitedly as he sniffed the air.

My eyes went wide and I cringed back out of Landon's reach. This caused him to frown before he looked behind him at the boy who just welcomed himself in.

"Ryan, you scared him." Landon said sternly before his eyes settled on me."Are you okay?" He asked concern in his eyes, I nodded slowly.

"Whose that?!" The boy, Ryan yelled as he pushed Landon out the way.

Landon growled at Ryan Before Landon tackled him. I yelped and scrambled away as they wrestled eachother. My mind was going into full blown panic mode, were they going to kill eachother? My breath started to get uneven but before I could start hyperventilating I felt a presence next to me. My eyes went wide and I looked up, my body ready to run. Soft kind blue eyes starred into mine before the girl winked at me.

"I'm telling mom!" She shouted causing the two boys to freeze.

"Sadie! We're just playing!" Ryan whined glaring at the girl who had the same sand colored hair as him.

"You're such a tattle tale." Landon said pushing Ryan off of him.

"You're scaring him." Sadie said rolling her eyes. "Sorry about my brothers, they're real stupid sometimes."

"Take that back!" Ryan yelled.

Knowing this bit of new information caused my body to tense, they were all alpha kids. Landon was just waiting for them so they could all beat me up.

"Hey, hey don't be scared." Landon's soft voice said causing me to open my eyes. "You're alright, Ryan and I stopped."

"Dumby." Sadie said rolling her eyes. "He's not concerned about that anymore, he's scared of us, you're supposed to be the next alpha and you can't even tell that he's a submissive?" Sadie groaned.

"Oh....oh...OOH!" Landon said quickly taking a step away from me, here it comes. "I'm sorry for touching you earlier without your permission." He said with wide eyes. I blinked stupidly, what did he just say? "Oh man if dad finds out I'm going to be in such trouble." Landon panicked.

"If I find out what?" A stern voice said behind us. My eyes quickly lowered to the ground and I didn't even look or get a glance at the Alpha. "Well what did my eldest do now?"

"He touched him!" Ryan shouted and was no doubt pointing at me. Yeah that's right, Landon would get in trouble for touching filth, that's all I was, trash. "And he didn't ask."

"Landon." The alpha growled.

"I didn't know!"

Suddenly someone was infront of me but I already knew who it was so I didn't bother looking up. I felt the alpha's eyes scan me before he let out a deep breath.

"He didn't make you uncomfortable?" My head immediately snapped up with wide eyes causing the alpha to chuckle. "You're not used to it because your pack ran differently than most but submissives are held in high regard here and they should never be touched unless given permission." The alpha explained. "I've told you once before when I welcomed you here, you are safe here Scottie, no one will hurt you." I nodded at the Alpha, I wasn't going to be hurt. "Now about Landon-"

"I'm so sorry!" The boy exclaimed his face in panic. I felt relieved, they were really nice here. My body reacted on its own but I didn't mind at all. "...does this mean I can touch you?" Landon asked as my face pressed into his chest. I nodded my head causing him to laugh and wrap his arms tightly around me returning my hug. "Great!"
