Nancy didn't realize how clingy she really was until it happened. Until she murdered Henry. Henry started coming home late from work multiple days out of the week. Nancy's instant thought was that he was with another woman.
The truth was, Henry wasn't ready. Being married made him feel like he was trapped, like he was with his mother all over again. But he loved Nancy more than anything, so he didn't talk to her about it and just started making up excuses to leave anytime he could. Nancy didn't approve of this at all.
One year on their anniversary, They had a decent morning. Nancy had her radio turned up and she was dancing slightly as she made breakfast for her dear husband. Henry walked out, ready for work and having a good morning already. He wrapped his arms around Nancy from behind and kissed her cheek. They danced a little until breakfast was done. Henry went off to work, telling Nancy he wouldn't be late this time. She was very happy by the sound of that, but he said it everytime. It had been gong on for years, but he never missed a celebration. The clock ticked as the radio desperately tried to find a signal, only static playing. The clock got louder, as did the static and so did the voice in Nancy's head. They kept telling her the same thing.
He doesn't love you. He's going to leave you for that other woman. He's already signing the papers, check his desk. Kill him before its too late, you'll never regret it.
At that moment Henry walked through the door. Nancy shook away the feeling and turned off the radio. She smiled as she walked up to her husband, hugging him tight, too tight.
Later in the night as he was watching his television, she summoned him out to the kitchen. She had a big smile on her face as she killed him slowly, each stab having it's own meaning.
As soon as Henry hit the ground, begging her to stop, she bent down in front of him and asked him why he left her each night alone. The words he said next were practically unbearable for Nancy to hear. He told her that she deserved better and that he wasn't ready for the commitment she wanted.
As soon as she heard those words, she felt a stab to her heart. Though, it wasn't necessarily Henry's words, more of it was the knife she stab into herself, quite literally. She wasn't thinking as she looked for a way out, though all she found was a rope and she thought she knew the only way out.
The police found Henry dead on the kitchen floor and Nancy right next to her husband, hanging. The rolled Henry's death homicide and Nancy's as a homicide as well, thinking someone faked her suicide. The police pointed fingers at Henry's only family, his mom. She had motive and that's all the prove they thought they needed.
