Chapter 6: On Lockdown

I looked up at Griffon in complete shock. What did he just say to me? He must have noticed my shocked and confused look because he nodded and whispered in my ear again.

“Max is in the hall. Walk with her to Mr. Payne’s room and she will explain everything.” He said. I nodded and ran out into the hallway.

I ran up to Max who was giving Robin, Jackson, and Tommy orders.

“Max! What’s going on?” I asked.

“Dakota. We are under attack.” She said.

“Yea. I got that. By who and where do I need to be?”

“Liam Payne’s room. We don’t know who this is, what he wants, or how deadly this could be. We are going to station one of you in every member of this band’s room. Robin, I want you and Jackson to go check in every room for anything or anyone suspicious and report to me. Tell everyone that we are on lockdown. I have nurses going in everyone’s room. Once you check each room, lock the doors. Tommy, I want you in Mr. Styles’s room. Make sure there is a nurse in the room and any family or friends that are here for him. Dakota, I want you in Mr. Payne’s room. Same goes for you. One nurse in the room and any family or friends. Griffon is staying in Perrie’s room so we are good there. Make sure that all of the people that are in this band and all their wives, girlfriends, anyone is in the rooms with you. Everyone in this hospital should be in a locked room. Remain calm and report back to me often. We need to find this guy and take him down.” Max said as we all took out our guns and suited up in our protection gear.

“Yes Ma’am.” Jackson said jokingly.

“This is no time for jokes Jackson.” Max scolded.

“Sorry.”

“So what exactly happened that we are under attack?” I asked.

Max didn’t give me the full story but she explained the things I needed to know.

“Alright. Everyone know the plan correct?”

“Yep!”

“Great. Go then!” Max said as we all ran to our positions.

I got to Liam’s room and knocked on the door. I had my gun up and loaded it as I walked in. Sitting in the room was Liam as well as Louis, Eleanor, and a nurse. I closed the door behind me and locked it.

“Is everyone alright?” I asked. They all looked between each other and nodded. “Great. Has anyone come in here?” They all shook their heads. “Alright. Liam, how are you doing?”

“Fine. Thank you.” He said though his voice was shaky.

“It’s going to be okay. I know everyone is probably a bit scared right now, but I promise you will all be fine.” I said.

“What is happening exactly?” Louis asked. He was holding Eleanor close to him. She was visibly shaking.

“We don’t have all the details, but basically a man walked into the hospital with a gun and wouldn’t talk to anyone. He fired the gun in the middle of the room at no one in particular and we just got a bit concerned.” I told them. I decided not to tell them about the part where after the man fired the gun, he said ‘I want Styles, Payne, and the Malik girl.’ I’m still confused as to why he used the last names, why those three, and what he wanted from them. This whole case just wasn’t adding up so far.

“Where is everyone else?” Louis asked.

“Agent Mandel is in Mrs. Malik’s room with Mr. Malik and Agent Marsh is in Mr. Styles’s room with Mr. Horan.” I answered.

“You sound so professional.” Louis said smiling.

“Well, I’m glad. It’s my job to be professional.” I said smiling back.

“So what are we supposed to do?” the nurse asked.

“Just stay in here and remain calm. Agent James and Phillips are searching for the man and we have the police department on their way.” I said.

“What is the police department coming for? Can’t you take care of it?” Louis asked.

“Well, yes and no. We can do what we need to do to make sure everyone is safe and we can find the guy and arrest him, however we need the police department to take him away and put him in the jail. We don’t have the right to do that.” I answered.

Louis nodded. We sat in silence for about 30 seconds before someone knocked on the door.

I turned to Louis, Eleanor, and the nurse and whispered for them to take Liam and go in the bathroom and lock the door. I told them to stay as quiet as possible no matter what. They did as they were told as I turned back to the door. Whoever was on the other side knocked again. I loaded my gun.

“Who’s there?” I asked loud and clear.

There was no response. They knocked again.

“Who is it?!” I yelled louder.

My response finally came, though it was not one that I was expecting. Whoever was on the other side, fired their gun and left a whole in the door.

I ducked down behind Liam’s bed, which was now abandoned, and waited for another sound. I heard another gun shot and the door swung open. A man walked in with a gun and started firing. I shot back at him but apparently missed. The man charged at me and shot one last time. I think he hit me because I felt a quick burst of heat hit my arm as it started to burn. I dropped my gun at the pain as the man walked up to me. I tried to take steps back, but I just couldn’t. I fell to the ground.

“Who are you?” I asked.

“Take a wild guess.” He said in a rough voice. In that instant I knew who he was, but what did he want with me and the One Direction gang? I guess I would just have to ask him when I got home.

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been on much lately. I'm writing a story with @Vampiredemigod2269 on our joint account and I have been really busy with that and school lately. Sorry if the story  is starting to suck. I'm trying my best but I haven't really written this type of story before. I will try to make it better. I'm not quite sure how this whole thing will end up or how long it will be soooo.... yeah.
