this is the first preference entitled home from the hospital. this preference is basically just a cute moment that happens on their way home from the hospital, or after they've returned home from the hospital. the next preference will be posted in a couple of hours or tonight.

harry:
you and harry had just had your second baby, Emma. You had a four year old son, austin and it was about time to give him a sibling. All through out your pregnancy with emma, austin would insist on a baby brother, he was a little dispointed when you and harry explained he was going to have a baby sister, but he was still excited! today was the day you were going to bring your new arrival home, and also to meet her big brother. you and harry are driving in the car, he has one hand intertwined with yours, "babe, im getting kind of nervous about austin will react" you say in a shaky unsure tone. "(y/n), he's going to be fine, it'll take a little getting used to at first but he'll eventually warm up and adore her!" he said to in a comforting tone. "yeah, i hope so" a couple minutes later you pull up into your drive way.
"I'll get the baby, you just take the bags babe" he says opening the back door to grab your little girl. "alright" you answer back and start walking into the house. "mommy, you're home!!" austin cheered. "he's been like this all day, he says he's very excited about his baby sister" said gemma, who was watching austin while you were at the hospital. "oh, are you!?" you ask austin forrowing your eyebrows playfully "yeah, me and aunt gemma made a present for little baby" austin explained excitedly.
"look there's daddy with your baby sister. go say hi austin!" you tell him.
he runs over cheerfully to the door, "daddy daddy daddy, do you have my baby sister?" he questions running into harry arms, "yeah buddy, your baby sister's in there but you have to be very quite, she's sleeping" he instructs
"can i hold her, daddy" he asks in a cheerful whisper. "yeah, but you have to go sit on the couch and be very gentle". everybody makes their way into the living room and takes a seat,. "okay daddy, im ready, let me hold her" he says sitting on the couch. harry walks over to your son with his baby girl in his arms, "okay buddy, be very carefull" he explains bending over placing her in austin's arms, setting her down gently as she coos and squirms around still with her eyes shut. "hi, baby sister" he says placiing a finger on her nose, he looks up at you and harry and asks "daddy, mommy, do we get to keep her" he whispers. "yeah, we get to keep her forever" harry explains chuckling lightly. "aunt gemma?" austin asks "yeah bud" she replys "were you nice to daddy when he was a baby?" he asks curiously. "yeah, aunt gemma were you nice to daddy when he was a baby" harry repeats, with a grin as he remembered all the times his older sister would pick on him. "yeah, aunti gemma was very nice to daddy." she says chuckling, realizing the little white lie she had told. the baby starts crying and whimpering and squirming in austin's hands, realizing that her pacifire had fallen out "oh no, baby sister dont cry" he says trying to comfort, he lifts the pacifire delacatley up into her mouth with his small hands "there you go, sissy, all better, dont cry you hurt my ears" he says looking down at your baby girl. "wow good job austin, your a good big brother" says harry. "daddy, i know" he says smiling.
liam:
you and liam just had your first baby girl, taylor. "she's so little" liam says buckling her into the carseat that was in the car. "i know, she's so adorable"
you answer. hopping into the passenger side of the door beside liam.
"ready to take our little girl home, baby." he asks smiling at you. "as ready as I'll ever be." you answered nervously. "oh, babe" he says grabbing your hands and seeing that your crying lightly "what's wrong" he says in concern. "li, it's just she's so little and she needs so much and im just so worried im gonna be a bad mom, and she's going to grow up and hate me and she's not going lo-" he cut you off mid sentence. "(y/n), dont even say that you're going to be an amazing mum, you're going to take such good care of her and when she grows up she is going to love you so much!" he says pulling you into a hug. "and im always going to be here, and she has four uncles that love her so much too"
"i love you and taylor so much, babe, i love you dont ever say you aren't going to be a bad mom" he says trying to comfort "thanks li, i love you" you answer wiping your tears. "i love you, too, baby, now let's get our baby girl home" he says soothingly
