"So, its over just like that?!" His voice roared through his small car.

"D-don't yell at me." I whisper, just loud enough for him to hear.

"Then get out of my car, you can walk home for all I care."

Ouch. As I open the door I trip over nothing, due to my blurred vision from the tears welled up in my eyes. After I stand up, Damien's car is already gone, nothing but my memory to tell me he was once here. As I begin my five mile walk back home, I sort of get this strange feeling like I'm being watched. Turn around and sure enough there is a man about 10 feet behind me. "Now I'm going to get kidnapped", I mutter.

I speed up my pace and round the upcoming corner. Suddenly, I trip over air once again. The man runs up to me.

"Oh my God, are you okay?" He asks me worriedly.

"I'm fine, just lost my footing, thank you though." I reply politely.

"You look like you've been crying, are you sure you're okay?" He asks again.

"Really i'm fine, i'm just exhausted, I've had a long day." I insist.

I can't help but notice his adorable Irish accent. As I struggle to stand up, he offers me a hand.

"I'm Niall, by the way." He says with a huge grin.

"Ever." I reply.

"Ever, I like it. Good to meet you, ever."

I can't help but blush.

"Mind if I walk with you?" Niall asks politely.

"Why not?"

About 20 minutes pass by without either of us saying anything, when finally he starts a new conversation.

"If you dont mind me asking, why were you out here all alone at 10 o'clock at night, something bad could've happened to you... You're really pretty."

"Me and my boyfriend, Damien had a fight and he told me to walk home." Ex boyfriend, I thought to myself.

"That's not right, even if you guys were fighting, he still could've atleast brought you home." Niall adds.

"Tell him that." I mutter. Jeez, it is so cold. Why didn't I think to bring a jacket?

"Are you cold, here take my jacket." I didn't notice I was shivering until then.

"Oh, thank you." I say, not without blushing.

As I see a streetlight in the distance, I notice Im close to my house. As niall walks me to my door, he asks for my number.

"Okay", i agree.

"I'll text you, " He tells me with a wink

"OK." I answer before turning a deep shade of red.

As I enter my house, I notice I didn't give him his jacket back. When I open the door to search for him, he isn't there. The least I can do is wash it for him, he walked me all the way home, I think to myself. As I begin walking up the stairs to my bedroom, I hear the familiar ringtone that only plays when I am getting a new text. I check to see what the text says, and notice its from Niall. The text read:

Do you want to meet up for coffee tomorrow, I promise not to ditch you like your boyfriend did. I quickly reply:

Sure, pick me up at 9:30?

I can barely put my phone down before I recieve another text:

See you then :)

I smile and drift off to sleep thinking about this adorable new Irish friend of mine.
