Chapter 2: My First Transformation. (Few weeks after)

After school.

Nicole's POV

I walked to Rhydian, who was reading a book. I poked him on his shoulder and said,"Hey Rhydian!" "Hey Nicole, what's up?" "Well, I was wondering if you would like to come over to my house, you know, for dinner?" "Sure, Nicole!" "Great, my car is black. See you later!"

Rhydian's POV

I want to tell Nicole that I like her, but my stepmother told me not to rush into a relationship like that. Nicole told me that she hasn't had her first transformation yet. Well, the full moon is tomorrow night, I can't wait to take her.

Later that day.

I saw my car in the distance and motioned for Rhydian to come.We both went in the car and sat in the back seat together. "Mom, this is Rhydian from school, the boy I've been telling you about." "Ah, Rhydian!", my dad said,"Nicole's told me so much about you. I think she fancies you!" "Relax, dad, I already told him." "So, Mrs. Brown, do you know about our secret?",Rhydian said. "What secret? And call me Rose." "Well me and Nicole are..." I put my hand over his mouth to stop him. He pushed my hand back and continued,"We're wolfbloods. And we're not the only ones. There's Maddy, too." "This is a big secret. If you tell anyone, and I mean anyone we will be experimented on, cut open and stuff." "Wow. That is a big secret. Don't worry. We'll keep it. After all we don't wanna lose our best foster daughter ever ." "Awe!", me and Rhydian cried together. "Oh, look, we're here!", I said.  "Oh, that reminds me.  I have to call my foster parents. They must be worried about me." Rhydian called his parents and told them where he was.

Inside the house.

Rhydian's POV

I walked in through the front door and gaped in awe. "Welcome to our little home.",Nicole said. "You call this little?!?",I said, "It's practically a mansion!" "You really think so?",Nicole said, blushing. "Well, yeah, I can see why you look nice in those clothes." "Thanks.", Nicole said, twirling a strand of hair with her finger. "You're welcome. So, would you like to come to the woods tomorrow, to transform?" "Yeah, sure."

Next day!

Nicole's POV

This morning, when I came to class, I saw a note in my locker that read, Hey beautiful, when you get to class there'll be a surprise on your desk . Hope you like it.~Rhydian.  Sure enough, there was something with a note taped to it. I went closer and saw that it was a bouquet of flowers. The note said,'Do you like it? I picked out your favorite flowers just for you.~Rhydian.' Awe. He's so sweet.  I heard a movement behind me. I turned around to see what was there. Then I heard a laugh. I knew that laugh anywhere. I turned around and saw Rhydian. "Rhydian!!! Thanks for the stuff!  How did you find me?" I hugged him. "Smell senses, duh! So, you ready for your first transformation?" "Yeah!" "Great!"

After school.

Nicole's POV

I sat next to Rhydian and had the bouquet of flowers in my bag. He turned to me and said,"Nicole, I was wondering if you would like to meet my parents." "Sure.",I said. "Great, oh look they're here!" He kissed my cheek and then motioned for me to come. I followed him and started whispering to him,"Why did you kiss me on my cheek for? Do you like me?" "Yes I do like you. And I kissed you because of that."

1  5 min. walk later.

Nicole's POV

I walked into Rhydian's 2-story house and sat on his loveseat. He sat down next to me.He fake yawned and put his arm around me.I don't know if he was actually tired or wanted me to snuggle with him.  So, I did the second one.

The rest is like when he met my 'parents'

Rhydian and I walked into the forest and stood where we could catch the moonlight to transform. "You ready?" "Of course." "Great." I felt something on my hands and looked at them.  I saw my and Rhydian's wolf veins showing. He looked at me and held my hand. Then I felt my body change. I was walking on four legs, had paws instead of hands and feet and felt fur throughout my body. I looked at Rhydian and he was light brown and taller than me. I did it! I transformed!

We both ran around and pounced on each other like cubs. Rhydian licked my cheek and I did the same to him.

After the night.

Nicole's POV

"Hey, thanks for the night, Rhydian." "You're welcome. And I got something special to tell you about wolfbloods." "What's that?" "Once you've had your first transformation, you can transform any time you want!" "Yay! Rhydian, do you have any feelings for Maddy?" "No, I don't. Nicole, I tonight I realized something." "And what is that?" "I don't like you." I felt my heart break into a million pieces. "I love you. Will you be my girlfriend? " My heart quickly healed. "I love you too, and yes, I'll be your girlfriend." We both shared a passionate kiss. After the kiss, I said goodbye to Rhydian and his foster parents and walked home. My house wasn't far from his. That is a good thing because he's my boyfriend.
