Phoebe POV

Ugh I don't know how long it's been maybe a week after about a day more people stared showing up and doing tests on max and I and eventually they moved me and max into different rooms I have no idea how many needles they jabbed in me mumbling something about altering my powers ugh the only thing that is getting me through this crap is max I don't know why it just does. my mouth is still duck taped shut and my hands are still bound to the table I let out a deep sighed and won of the 'doctors' (what they call themselves)came in and said Something like 'subject four is resisting I'm going to need your help' the urgent look in his eyes almost made me laugh after that every thing happens in a blur all I hard was screaming before the doctors came rushing in and ripped me off the table my duck tape as well and tossed me in a white room that was like I was shoved in a freezer I shook my head and turned around only to see my one and only brother curled in a ball in the corner of the room

"Max?" I said he didn't move

"Max?"I repeated more urgently when he didn't respond I rushed forward and shared shaking him gently he was cold dead cold and that's when I saw it there was a tag attached to his shirt that read
