*****Veronica's POV********

Dear Diary,

          November 1st, 1989. I stare done at the white plastic pregnancy test. I see the Pink plus sign. I can't believe it. J.D. had been beat for almost a month and now I am carrying his child. Can't anyone see the irony of this. I will never escape him. Now I will have to look at my child every day and pray that they won't end up like him. Oh my God how am I going to do this? Should I tell my parent? How am I going to go to college finish high school? Wait I think I can apply for early graduation. Then I can go to night classes. The first thing I need to do is talk to my parents.

I close my diary and walk down the stairs. My parents are both in the living room. I walk into the room.

"Mom, I need to talk to you." I say

"What is it sweetie?" my mom asks

"I don't know how to say this, so I'm going to say it. I Pregnant." I tell her. She sits there shocked.

"Are you sure sweetie?" My mom asks.

"Yes mom, I just took an at home test. I wanted to tell you I want to go to the doctors to make sure. I didn't know what I should do." I tell her

"Okay sweetie. I will help you with this. Do you have a plan for school?" She asks.

"I don't know mom, but I'm sure we'll figure it out." I say

********One year later*********

           I can't believe I thought that telling my mom that I was pregnant with the quadruplets. Yes, that's right I was pregnant with four kids three boys, Ram, Kurt, and Jason Dean Jr, then my little girl, Heather. That's right I named them after everyone we killed. I even gave them their father's name. I really don't know why I did it but it doesn't matter right now. I need to get my game face on as I walk into court. Today is my trial date. I am going to get J.D.'s crazy father put in jail then I will have all of his things for the kids. I can do this because they don't have a father and because they are his only next to kin. I never married J.D one because he was crazy and two because he kind of blew up our senior year. I step into the courtroom. I walk all the way to the front. Then we begin the proceedings.

*********4 days later*********

          I step out of the courtroom. I see my mom and dad they are each holding two of my kids. I won I sent that crazy bastard to jail. Now I can live my life and not have to worry about my kids being killed by him. Now with the money and things that I have obtained I will be able to give the kids a good life. I can go to college and not have to worry about the money and I can send all three of my kids to college too. I am going to leave the company in the hands of a CEO. I will have some control and I'll get a larger income from the company's profits. Without actually having to work at the company. Now I need to focus on getting the kids and myself into his old house.

            I walk into the huge house that is now mine. I am having my mom and dad look after them for a few weeks while I fix up the house. I have hired people to help me but today I am just looking around to see what needs to be done. I look down at my check list it says.

1. Pick a room for everyone (if needed have the boys sleep together)

2. Assess if things need to be fixed or repaired

3. Think of paint colors for the rooms

4. See what types of furniture need to be bought and what needs to be removed

5. Look for explosives!

            I begin by walking over to what I know to be J.D.'s room. He had the master bedroom so this is the one that I am going to take. It looks untouched. There are still some clothes on his floor, wires and tools on his desk. It looks like an average teen boy's bedroom. It even has his scent lingering even though it's been over a year since he died. I decide that I will leave this room its color. I am going to keep the bed but get a new frame and put most of his stuff in the basement.

******time skip 2 weeks later********

             I walk the kids into the house "This is going to be your new home kids. They all stare up at me blankly. I hear some baby noises coming from all of them." I tell them. I am very proud of myself I got this house into really good shape it didn't have much work to be done because it was fairly new but I did have to design and put together all of the rooms. All of the kids have their own rooms, also there is two extra room for guest rooms. Then there was an extra living/family room so I made that into a playroom. When the kids get older I will make it into something else. Somewhere they can hang out with their friends and do homework.
