I woke up the same way I always did on a school day, alarm clock screaming and my sister singing while doing her make up. I grumbled getting out of bed turning my alarm off and opening my closet door, putting on a: doctor who graphic tee, my fingerless black and blue stripped sleeves and a pair of black skinny jeans. I started wearing skinny jeans ever since the summer when I lost a lot of weight and didn't feel so self-concise anymore. Fixing my hair and running my fingers through the blue ombre my sister came barging in my room just like every morning "Eww you're wearing that nerdy shirt, no offense but you keep dressing like that and people will think you're emo" she proclaimed straightening her dress "And what's so wrong with that" I replied venomously the sound of annoyance evidence in my tone "I'm just saying" with that response and a hair flip she left my room. Making a sound of annoyance while rolling my eyes I quickly slipped on my knee high black and blue converse, my black beanie, and my yin-yang choker. I touched the circle shaped charm blushing remember who exactly the necklace came from; my best friend Bryce gave it to me for Christmas last year and since then I've always worn it. Snatching up my black shoulder strap backpack and brushing my teeth I hurried downstairs grabbing and apple and darted out the door for my bus stop, it was chilly out since it was February but it didn't bother me. I loved the cold. I reached my bus stop high fiving my friend Grayson as I bit into my apple "So you ready to set up today?" crap I thought I had completely forgotten today was when Student Council was decorating for the dance on Friday. "The only thing I'm ready for is Friday" I responded taking another bite of apple "Well yeah Valentines Day's your favorite day of the year" I nodded as the bus pulled up, we climbed on and just had a random conversation till we reached the school. First thing when I climbed off the bus I was greeted with a hug by no other than Bryce, I blushed hugging him back I'd liked him since I met him but I never said anything cause he was my best friend "Happy Monday" he said with a laugh "Shut up" I responded smiling and giving him a small shove. He walked me to homeroom and before I could go inside he looked at me "Hey I've got a question" just when he was about to open his mouth again the warning bell rang "Crap don't want to be late, I'll ask you at lunch okay?" running down the hall out of sight. I gave a weak smile hoping the question was what I thought it was, I whispered to myself "I can wait" and I walked into homeroom impatience for lunch.
