I was a healthy baby. Always smiling and laughing. Cancer ran in my family. It mostly occurred as they were babies. I guess I was the lucky one because there was not one sign that I had it. I had an older brother, Kian. He loved his younger sister. He was a lucky one too. Our father left our mother when Kian was eight and I was six. He cheated on her with Kians kindergarten teacher. I still don't know why he waited to "date" Kians kinder teacher when Kian was in third grade.

So life has been hard for my mother, two kids and three jobs. Yes, three. Kian and I were almost always at our Aunt Charlottes house because our mother was gone in the morning for her first job as a Self Harm Therapist, making $15.00 an hour which was good. The evening she went to her second job, taking care of the elderly making $10.00 an hour, not to bad. And her third job was taking the night shift as an actual Doctor, making $25.00 an hour. This is what got us by in life. My mother went part time to college and part time to medical school. Because of her success of not needing a partner and making the best out of her life, she got me and Kian everything we have ever wanted. The best clothes, school, and house. But as soon as I Hit sixteen and Kian hitting eighteen, things started changing and I am here to tell you the never ending story.
