That night I awoke to the strange feeling of being watch. I quickly sat up, looking around my bedroom for someone. As I quickly scanned the room, I saw nothing out of the ordinary. I played back down and tried to go back to sleep. For some reason I just could not shake that feeling. Rolling over on my side I caught sight of someone standing in the shadows by my bookshelf. I sat up in my bed once more to try to catch a glimpse of the figures face. From here I could tell it was a man but that was about it. I immediately remembered the book I once read.
"Holy Jesus H. Christ, this is so a Twilight moment." I said slightly fan-girling. Instead of being terrified that there was a man in my room, I was fingerling. My heart pounded too much with excitement to notice the person was moving closer. As he walked toward my bed, I was able to get a better look at him.
The moon light that seemed through my window didn't allow me to get a good look at him. From the little light, I could see the man had longer dark hair hung down into his eyes. From my position on my bed, his eyes seem to glow. The closer he got the more I released how beautiful he looked. He looked almost inhuman.
"I am no Edward Collins," the man said in a raspy voice, now at the side of my bed.
"Well that's given. Your not a vampire that sparkles." I said, as if that was obvious.
"You were right about the sparkling part." He smiled letting a small amount of light reflect off of his teeth. It took me a moment to figure out what he meant by that. My eyes widened as he moved even closer, standing at the edge of my bed. He smirked noticing that I realizing that I have figured it out.
"You...Your...what? How would that even be possible?" I tried sounding confident, but my nervous laugh probably gave me away.
He laughed moving closer to my side of the bed. When his mouthed opened all the way, he gave me a perfect view of the fangs hidden in his mouth. I looked away from him to glance at the door, hoping that someone would happen to walk into the room. Knowing that would not happen I turned to the man once more, but he wasn't there.
"Looking for me are you?" said that same raspy voice said from beside me. I slowly turned my head to see the mysterious man siting next to me smirking. He stared at me for a second before leaning in whispering "Isn't this your perfect fantasy."
