"Hey Rob!" I say, as i see his hazelnut hair and the chocolate eyes light up on the screen.

A smile spreads across his face with a glint of excitement in his eyes; this worries me...

"Hey Lachlan! Great news~" he takes a breath and begins to speak again,

"I mean maybe for me but not so much for.. Ya know.." He mumbles to himself and i raise an eyebrow.

"What are you going on about?" I question as i sit up in my chair.

"Look, i know it's not your thing but the rest of the pack were planning to go on another ski trip" he sighs "you can't decline this year too"

I nod "hey, i'll think about it, okay?" He smiles and nods too.

"Okay lachy; I've got to go record some stuff ill catch ya later!" I raise my hand a little bit and wave as my skype call with Rob closes.

"Your wings are beautiful Lachlan"

"But mama why can't I see other people?"

"Lachlan you'll understand when you're older... Go to bed now sweetie"

The parents of the blonde boy had gone through thick and thin to give him the best, what he wanted. But he was never truly happy, and his parents never understood. Something, someone like him had to be hidden.

It was the age of 12 the homeschooled boy had learned about the musts of going outside of the house, where he made his very first friends. The pain he had to go through to bind his wings to his back was immense, but looking back on his younger years he didn't regret it.

The young boy is down at a small river with stones littered in it. His parents had allowed him further than around the block, as long as he was back before tea as of his 13th birthday.

"Hello?" The voice in his head startles the blonde causing him to speak up. "Uh hello? Who goes there? I have a pocket knife and I'm NOT afraid to use it."

He hears rustling presumably from a bush behind him as a boy his age, maybe younger emerges from it. Messy hair  with a blue hood, black jeans and simple white converse.

"I-I'm sorry uh hi I..." He looks down fumbling with his fingers. "You heard the voice right?" The other male raises an eyebrow thinking, then nods. "Well- I mean I felt something and I can only feel it when there's someone else who can talk through minds.."

The messy boy looks up to see a very confused blondie heh "oh I'm sorry this probably sounds like a mess, I can explain later." The confused face drops and a smile spreads across blondie's face. "Nice to meet you! My names Lachlan and.."

"Rob. The names Rob" he finishes with a grin.

"H-hello? Is this working? Uh..." A huge smile spreads across Rob's face "yes Lachlan! You did it!" Lachlan looks down at his feet and starts twiddling his thumbs. Rob had know the older boy long enough to know he did this when he was nervous so he raised an eyebrow.

"There's something I need to tell you Rob, I'm sure you won't mind.. You see I uh- I have w-wings" Rob's jaw drops for all the good reasons.

"Really! That's awesome, I guess I can tell you this but hey, I'm a pixie" he says all to sheepishly.

"Whoa what can you do?!" Lachlan questions; just after Rob takes his hand almost dragging him across the ground and through the forest untill the two boys make it to a garden.

Rob gestures for him to follow, and so Lachlan does. Rob pulls a small pouch from his belt throwing a shimmering gold dust that sparkled and glistened in the warm summers light. Underneath the birch wood forest with the Autumn leaves still littered on the ground; the Australian stood there dumbfounded as all the flowers began to bloom, creating an absolute masterpiece. The hedges surrounding the once empty garden beds has little pink flowers on the end, and all kinds of flowers were in the garden. Soon after there were birds chirping as if they had been they're all along and in the middle of all this were two boys. The age 13 and 12, who go by Lachlan and Rob. In the middle of this forest not only did about a million flowers blossom, so did a friendship that would be cherished forever, one that held many secrets, and would be ever lasting.
