The wolf within

Chapter 1

         A/N you wont meet mark or jack in this chapter but pleas read because it is important to the story. This chapter is vary short only 721 words.

  My paws hit the forest floor flinging up dirt and dead leaves as i ran alongside my brother Alex. I jumped over a fallen log and kept running I can't stop to much is at risk not just the life of my pack, but of my friends and family.  As we came to a stop I realized  we were to late they were all dead blood and bodes were everywhere . I mind linked my brother "Alex we are to late there gone." I said.  "I know Zora but we need to look for survives" Alex said. I ran out of the forest and in to the pack house. The house was destroyed the TV was in peaces  because it had been somehow throne across the room and was stuck in the window.  Once i was in my room i shifted and got dressed and began looking for survives. 

  (time skip 1 hour  later)

    "I cant find any survivors come on Zora."Alex called from down stairs. "ok let me pack a bag first..." i said as a tear escaped my eye, my friends my family my pack and my life are GONE. Its just me and my brother left now and we need to get out of here because who ever did this had to know that the Alphas son and daughter were not there. I garbed a bag from my closet and through 4 shirts 5 pairs of jeans and other things like socks in it and ran down stairs. " So Alex what now?" i asked. " We leave we cant stay here because they they knew how to kill us so they have probably been studding to kill us for a while now... came on your get in your truck i'll meet you in town we need supplies, and food..." Alex said. "ok ill meet you there." i said. 

 (Alex pov)

I cant let her know what i did!!! She will never forgive me!!!! I'm a trader to my own pack what kind of alpha am I, but i did it to protect her i don't think i could have run the pack anyway with out my beata or  sister... But i still could have done something else. But its to late to do anything now we are all alone and they will be back because i don't think they will keep there promise and leave us alone so we have to get out of here while we can. What was that? "Who is here?" i questioned the unmoving forest beyond my eyes. "You didn't forget about us did you, now?" "What do you want now i gave you everything you wanted!" i shouted. "Not quite i want all of the pack dead including you!" He lunged at me and the last thing i rember seing is the silver shine of a blade, and me oping a mind link and telling Zora to get the hell out of here and not to look back.

(time skip) (Zora's pov)

     Alex has been acting weird ever since we left the pack house. I hope he is ok i mean he did just loose his whole family and pack, but what are we gonna do now. Well i really should get to my truck like he said and meet him in town. My truck is my baby,  it is solid black with red claw marks down the side where i painted them. My truck was one of the loudest in our town,  and i get complaints all the time. I'm gonna miss this place so much! How can i just leave! I have spent all of my life in this place! Where are we gonna go, how long is this gonna take us! What is gonna happen to us now? I WANNA GO HOME!!! But i cant i have to do this to protect us...    Alex suddenly opened the mind link and yelled through it " Zora get the hell out of here and don't look back then i lost all connection with him  i knew he was dead. I burst out crying he was the only thing i had left!!! Now what?
