Platform 9 3/4

Hi, I'm Katie Bell I'm going to be in my second year at Hogwarts. "Katie. Katie, hurry up your gonna be late" oops that's my mum its September the first so we're going to Hogwarts today.

I raced down stairs and almost knocked my little sister, Eliza, to the ground "sorry Liz," I say before quickly helping her up. She looks at me confused so I look at her ears, Eliza is deaf so she has to wear hearing aids. She signs me to tell me she can't find her hearing aids I sign back to ask her if she told mum yet she shakes her head. "Mum, Liz lost her hearing aids again" I call out Liz looks confused " what did you say?" Liz asks, sadly she isn't mute and she certainly is not ever quiet, " we don't have time for this" mum says she's clearly annoyed " accio hearing aids." She says loud enough for me to hear " they were on the kitchen bench. Send her in here" I sign to Liz to tell her to come with me to the kitchen. Mum gives Liz her hearing aids Liz is smart enough by now to know that she should turn them down now as mum is about to give her a scolding. "Eliza, what are we going to do with you? You need to keep track of those hearing aids or I'll have to permanently stick them to yours ears. I'll have to owl your head of house and let them know that you must always be wearing them," mum said her voice raised "sorry mum" Eliza sad not actually knowing what she said.

When we finally got on the train Eliza followed me until I told her to go and find her own compartment. I finally found Amaris "finally I found you I've been looking everywhere for you Mari" I say " how are you"
"Great" says Amaris happily. Amaris is my best friend and we're both in Gryffindor. We talk the whole way to Hogwarts about our holidays.
