Sharp teeth were the first thing Adam saw when he opened his one remaining eye. Those teeth were not sharp enough to be considered fangs but not human. Those teeth belonged to his boss. The heartbreaking murderer of his troupe that made sure he knew his place in this world. He showed him little to no mercy when he made a mistake or was caught himself being merciful. All kindness disappeared once he realized where he was. It was just gone with no warning. And he was constantly reminded of that by his boss. At this point he didn't know what he had done wrong just had a sinking feeling of dread in his stomach. His boss, Joseph, had a look of sheltered anger. Adam tried to get up, tried to relieve himself of his harsh rope bounds that was cutting into his skin and ripping into his wings. His face was pressed against the side of whatever he was bound to Joseph's worn calloused hand gripping his jaw roughly.

"What were ya' thinking ya' fuckin' pathetic background demon? Who told ya' that you could go out and release the prisoner? He was goin' to be killed!" His voice was a low snarl but was clear and threatening. That would be expected and just become a memory that he had failed to forget.

Adams mind was absent of an answer to why he released the Angel. His mind was an inferno of hollow empty thoughts. He opened his mouth to reply but only a soft croak came out his throat tightening with fear.

"Don't have a answer do ya'? Of course not! Just do these things 'cause you think things can be all good! You don't know anythin'. So instead this is what I'm gon' do. I'm gon' put you in the steel room-" Joseph's words were cut off by a whimper of terror from Adam. He gave a soft weep shaking his head.

The steel room was no room. It's was a three foot wide and only a height of five foot five. Being five three it made Adam fear confined spaces. It gave him claustrophobia. It gave him horrible terror to just go into a car something that he was often forced into to perform his slave like duties.  But as Adam wept softly Joseph's hand moved over his mouth covering it up tightly.

"Shut up. As I was sayin'. I'm not only gon' to put ya in the steel room I'm gon' to fill it up with water. Let you not have any light or any oxygen. Maybe that'll change your mind about tryin' to be good." He sneered at the terrified look of Adam his one red eye bright with fear. As he shook his head as a silent plea for him not to while trying to shift under his strong ruthless grip.

"Poor lil' Adam." He slammed his head against the surface he was strapped to knocking him out once more putting him into a stressful empty darkness.

When he awoke once more he was shaking his arms, legs and wings bound together with rusted chains while slumped in pitch black. He realized why he woke up after a few seconds freezing water being poured in. He wasn't sure how it was. He wasn't sure how or why anything was happening anymore. He just didn't want this to happen anymore.

At that point the water had sputtered up to his neck salty water splashing into his mouth burning the back of his throat the occasional drip into his eye. He tried to scream while knowing no one would hear or care if they did even hear. He tried anyways until his voice was hoarse while his mouth filled with salt water. Soon enough he was unable to open his mouth or eye without feeling it burn him or splash into him. But...he couldn't take it. He needed to breathe.

His mouth opened, against his will, and water flooded his mouth. He tried to gasp for air as the infinite expanse of water filled him with a pit of terror deep inside him, deep under. He couldn't breathe. His lungs were filling with the salty water and he was suffocating, gasping for air, trying to call out for someone. All he had was this claustrophobic darkness pressing down on him. Until he lost conscious.
