She knew he was there. She could feel him, his presence. Looking up, she saw no one, but she knew so well.
Just then, a cool hand touched her arm and slid down, wrapping its icy fingers around her wrist. She shivered, but didn't pull away. Somehow, somewhere, she found peace in his touch, an ease. It felt like all her pain ceased at his contact.
She felt his cool lips at her bare shoulder, which made its way slowly to her neck.
Heart thumping loudly in her chest, she very slowly and carefully turned to face him, trying not to break contact. Their finger intertwined, she looked up to see his beautiful but cold face. It almost felt like she could see those coffee coloured eyes of his. But she knew she couldn't.
In spite of all this, she couldn't let him go. She'd lost him once, she wouldn't survive it again. She craved for his one touch. It was now a drug to her, without which she would be driven insane.
Gazing into his eyes, she saw him start to fade. Fade into the night, slipping away through her fingers. She tried to grab for him, but he was already gone, leaving her feeling empty and incomplete.
Her feet gave away and she fell to her knees, weeping. She wept in the memory of the boy she would love till she lived, after which she'd join him where he was, and never ever lose him again...
