Just a normal day for London as she sits in first period. She got her trumpet out of the case and waited for the bell to ring, the bell rang, the national anthem played. Then, came the announcement about the dance at her school.
Later, on the bus she sat with her friend, Brooke, they asked each other if they were going to the dance. Brooke said she was, and London said she wasn't sure.
When, London got home she asked her parents if she could go, and they said yes. They gave her $5 to pay for the ticket, but said she had to earn the money to spend.
