The Princess of Aai

By: Bryce Stoskopf

Although I have never recollected my desires and fascinations in pertain to the search for a more thorough analysis of human significance to anyone of common familiarity; I tend to keep such curiosities to myself as I have suspected no one of such person to agree with my theories and speculative conjectures. What seems to illustrate my views of the world and all of its inhabitants is the technique of looking at our own home planet not from the internal but from the far out-stretches of the external matter and cosmic infinity. Often I am confronted with such ideas that may seem of peculiar nature and are without root to any sort of rational thinking, but I am fully confident in these self-deliberations of who and what bares the keys to the significance of man. Without any brand of ill-will mannerism, I am fully prepared to take every possible precaution necessary to carry out these expeditions of reasonable search and question. And with this vow I have taken upon myself in the name of science and conscious-awareness I am for more than corrigibly determined to delve extensively into the numbing dimensions that have yet to be fathomed by our present state of man; and so be it if I am unable to return with the answers.

My office of work and other disclosed experiments took place within the very walls of my own home which was needless to say located in a rather undesirable part of the downtown district. The outside streets were constantly filled with the echoing splashes of cars and buses plowing through the puddles and miniature lakes created by the constant fall of rain that this city was more than prone to. During the night I would occasionally peek out of my living room window to see the asphalt road appear like a frozen black river; glowing with a rainbow like luminance created by all of the city lights reflecting upon it. After the passing of my dear wife I intended to build my remaining years with bricks of solitude and encase them with cement of obsession and self-afflicted madness; in pursuit of discovering the answer of to where her soul had been recycled. Much ridicule had been poured upon me by her remaining family as well as my own for admitting myself to so-called "foolish undertakings". For they as well as others of both the familiar and unfamiliar gazed at me with passing as if I too were the next to turn the knob of death's glowing door.

In order to carry out my venture I began by submerging myself in literature of the occult, cosmology, and anything of similar nature that could possibly assist me in pursuing my experiments. I took practice in such garden variety tools as the Ouija Board, E.V.P (Electronic Voice Phenomenon), Meditation, and Séance but found all of these to be a failure of advancement in my case. I was then reading a book that was published on the ever controversial subject of U.F.O'S. This book entailed with great specification of well-documented accounts and interviews with people that have claimed to become in communicational contact with beings not of our own planet. One of the chapters had a main theme of "Meditational Contact" that was described by some individuals as having experienced verbal language exchanges with beings of other dimensions while in a trance-like state of mind. This of course fascinated me, and even though I had little to no experience with meditation I felt that it could be a great progressive approach to what I was attempting to do.

While amongst the more exotic ways of meditation that I read about, I decided to approach this exercise with nothing more than a few lit candles and some inexpensive incense in order to relax my physical and mental self. With all sounds mute and all lights turned off I then lay on my bed in a traditional sleeping position. Remembering the instructions of which I have read I focused all concentration on my breathing; slowly inhaling and exhaling until I melted into a hypnotized yet relaxed state of mind. Through the thin layer of skin that canvased over my eyes I could see the flickering of the candles flame bouncing on and off the inside walls of my bedroom. Then from all corners and unparalleled directions I began to hear a slight hissing sound that increased with devastating volume upon every breath that I took and let out.
