"Agent Romanoff, I swear to God you're going to get us killed!" I screamed as I ducked a HYDRA bullet. We were completely surrounded by these Nazi-inspired freaks, aiming to kill. God, I hated them.
And Romanoff, clearly aware that we were in a critical path of undeniable death, drove our hijacked truck like she was DUI through the woods. Meanwhile, Agent Barton tried to justify her actions.
"Sorry, princess, but the best path isn't always the smoothest!" He show an arrow right into the head of a HYDRA.
"I disagree, I highly disagree!" I announced, turning on my earpiece and shouting at Rogers, Stark, and 'Odinson' "They're trying to kill me! I suggest you get me to the lab before my worth is worn"

~Hang in there big brain~
~We shall cometh as swiftly as possible~
And they did "cometh." If fact, they "cometh" very soon after, yet again they did so in the least safe way. Mr.Stark decided it would be a brilliant idea to pick me up right off the truck and fly away with him into the base. Who does that!
"STARK IF YOU EVER DO THIS AGAIN!" I wrapped my arms around his neck tightly, screaming bloody murder as I clung to him like a koala.
"Yeah, yeah, just hold onto your scarf princess, I'm getting you in!"
"IT'S A HIJAB YOU UNEDUCATED SWINE!" I snapped, but proceeded to hold onto my head with one hand.
"I fucking know what it is, okay, I'm just messing with you" He laughed, shooting at some HYDRA agents below.

Oh, Rogers, I thought, he's not gonna let that go easily.
Tony Stark burst into the building soon after. Every HYDRA in the room pointed their guns at him and I, ready to fire.
"Look, I just came to talk-"
They almost shot us but Tony was quicker, using his high-tech weaponry on his high-tech weapon of a body suit.
Placing me gently on the ground, I muttered "Nice talk." Automatically I flipped out my Gamma Radiation Tracker, which was beeping like crazy.
"Since when does the Scepter contain Gamma Radiation?" Stark asked as he casually stepped out of his suit, commanding it to light our way.
"It doesn't." I explained as I followed the way to the scepter, not caring to look up from my device "But Gamma rays are the deadliest known radiation to us, and this tracker is designed to only seek out radiation as strong as it. And so, naturally, when it finds one even stronger-"
I hit my head against a wall, falling backwards so Tony was obligated to catch me. "Whoops, alright, we're getting back up" he muttered as he helped me to my feet again. Confused, I stared at the wall, and then down to my tracker. It legitimately intended for us to walk through stone.
Luckily, Stark was a genius. Chanting a series of "Please be a secret passage, please be a secret passage" he felt the wall until he found the entrance. And, alas, a secret passage emerged.
"Ah, bet!" I screeched accidentally. At the amused look on Stark's face I cleared my throat and stepped inside with him. "Not. A. Word." I referenced my use of my age group's vocabulary.
__
"You go left, I go right?" Stark suggested as a resolution to my tracker frying from being too close to the radiation.
"Very well," I sighed, "But I doubt I'll find anything worth my time"
"Oh, the doubts of Agent H! Are you sure you don't predict the future?"
I rolled my eyes in annoyance "I don't see the future, Mr.Stark, I just have common sense"
Stark frowned comedically "Hm, never heard of it"
And with that, we separated and I was alone...
Yet not for long.
As I was looking around the lab I saw some case files for different "mission reports." Placed on Strucker's desk, closed and on top of the pile, read one with a familiar date:
December 19, 1991
I picked it up, opening it without thinking. But before I could read anything I was put into a trance, my world tinged crimson for a brief moment before I was thrown into my past.
___
I was in the room where I'd found my father, mother, and older brother dead, January 1st, 1992. However this time they were alive. They sat calmly where they'd died, their bodies drenched in blood.
"Fadilah," My mother smiled, "My love, why did you hide when the metal-armed man came?"
My mouth didn't let me utter any words as I stared at the bullet wound on her forehead.
"I told you to go to sleep, not to hide in the floorboards," father laughed, "You'd be with us if he'd found you."
"I was saving up to buy us two tickets for that movie in April," Khalid, my sweet brother, reminded me "Do you remember? Beethoven! You loved dogs-"
"STOP!" I screamed, placing my hands on my head and falling on my knees. It was bad enough that I was constantly haunted by them in my head, but seeing them before my eyes was too much.
___
When I looked up I was in the lab once more, and before me stood a girl with brown hair and mesmerizingly hazel eyes. She had a short black dress on, which suited her very well.
She knelt down, pushing a strand of my loose, black hair where it belonged. "Fadilah," she murmured in a Sokovian accent.
No one knows my first name! I clenched my jaw, realizing who- no, what- she was. The monster who gave me that vision.
I let out a cry and and attempted to punch her. As I swung, though, she was carried away by a fast-moving blue force, making my punch look pathetic and hollow.
The mission report, I reminded myself. Luckily it was still on the ground beneath me. Quickly picking it up and stuffing everything that had fallen back in the folder, I called out Stark's name.
