Why Try? Ariana/you

Prologue

Y/N was in the park when she received a text from his girlfriend, he was teaching a group of kids on how to do a basic parkour, he was a practitioner for two years now.

He grinned from ear to ear when he received a text from Ariana, his girlfriend of one year.

"Uhm... Kids, maybe we can practice some cool parkour stunts tomorrow because I have places to go is that cool to y'all?" You asked the kids.

"Yeah we're cool about that, to be honest we're pretty tired" one of the kids said and the others agreed. You bid you good byes to them and ran into your bike and off you go.

Went to the starbucks where ari was waiting for you. You hopped off you bicycle and quickly went inside. You saw her, you saw your girlfriend whom you dearly missed. You have an ear to ear smile on your face.

Your girlfriend was wearing a pink hoodie and sunglasses to hide her face.

Ariana was getting famous at the time, her career is starting to get at its peak. She started her career as an actress but she was started to recognized by the people when she started singing, and then she started her singing career.

Y/N and Ari's relationship was a secret, her fans doesn't know that she has a boyfriend. The reason why she doesn't want their relationship to be well-known in public was because she doesn't want to let the fans known that she was dating a guy who has no direction in life. Y/N was broke and he's just working at a small machine shop for a living and doing extras in movies because of his talent in parkour.

"Hey Ari! I missed you so much babe!" He greeted when she looked at his way, she was feeling guilty because he was smiling but she doubt if he will still smile after she tell the reason why she called for him.

Ariana stood up and hugged him, he hugged back and she quickly pulled away, Y/N leaned in to give her a kiss on the lips but she turned her head and Y/N kissed her cheek instead of her lips. It made him frown but he just shook it off.

"I-I m-missed you too Y-Y/N" she said stuttering and it made him frown.

"So what do you want to talk about?" He asked and Ariana gulped.

"Uhm..." Ariana started, Y/N looked at her with a worried facial expression.

"Hey Ari, if there's any problem? You can tell it to me, I'm your boyfriend" he said and he put his hand on the top of Ariana's hands.

"Well.... There's a problem, but it's not you, I promise its me" she said then pulled her hands out of Y/N's touch, Y/N frowned.

"Then what is it?" He asked.

"Well Y/N we need to break up" She said and Y/N's jaw dropped.

"What? No, n-no I can't accept that Ari, please don't do this" Y/N said, he was on the verge of tears, his voice cracked.

"I'm sorry Y/N, but its for the best" Ariana said, she was now crying.

"I promise that I will not insist that we will go out on public just please stay with me, don't leave me, I beg you, I will even find a better job for you so you will be proud of me, just please don't leave me, I beg you" Y/N begged, luckily they are sitting at the far edge of the cafe.

"No, Y/N I already made up my mind, and I am dating my co-star now, I'm so sorry, I'm really sorry, hope you forgive me someday" she said then leave.

Y/N was left there, devastated, he was thinking on ending his life because of how much it hurts. Ariana throw their one year relationship away. Y/N can't accept the fact that he let her slipped away from his fingertips.

After 10 minutes of crying, he composed himself, trying to accept that Ariana is not his anymore, she's with someone else now even though it hurt. He said to himself that he will try his best to make it to the top, to prove that he was not a loser. This heartbreak was his inspiration to make it to the top.
