Flashback

I sat in my chair, my head resting in the palm of my hand. I glanced at Billie to see he was doing the same, we both despised Math class. Just as I was drifting away the teacher snapped me out of my trance. "Do you have an answer, Miss Elizabeth?" He asked me, looking at me as if I was an idiot. I shook my head. "No, I wasn't listening to your stupid shit." I said with a stern voice. He looked taken aback. I saw Billie from the corner of my eye looking at me as if I had lost my mind, which I probably did. "I'm gonna call your parents after class." The rest of the day went by pretty fast, I walked out of the big front doors and began walking home, I heard rapid footsteps behind me and I turned around to see Billie running towards me. "Candi! Wait up!" He said, slowing down once he caught up. "You know you're gonna get suspended or expelled right?" He said matter-of-factly. "I know, but I don't really care." I said as we continued walking, he just shrugged and stayed quiet, once we got to his house we hugged and parted ways. Once I got home my mom told me I had gotten expelled from school and scolded me for it. I sighed and went upstairs to my room, taking my leather jacket off and plopping on my bed, falling asleep almost instantly.
