Angie's POV

I open my eyes to see that it's already 5 in the morning. What day is it? I got up from my bed to get my phone and shut the damn alarm off. It's one of those small nokia phones that I got from my parents. I won't complain about the phone. I just wish that I can buy myself a phone one day. I take a glance at the clock again. 5:10. Already? Time always seems to pass by just by staring into your phone and thinking about buying a new phone.

My dad got Inside the room with his baggy white clothes and shorts. Not that it's unusual since we're at the house and it's literally.. 5:15am.

"You'll be late" He smiles

"I know" I groan.

"I made breakfast. We have eggs and vegetables. I just came here to check if you're still sleeping. Glad you're already up" He passes me as he gets his phone to check on something. You could say we share rooms but with different beds. Dad doesn't like being alone too much considering mom is in a different state. I nod my head to my dad and get my things ready and take a shower.

I close my eyes while rinsing my hair. I keep forgetting that today is my first day at school. Well obviously I'm already a aduilt-ish teenager.. I think. Hey, when you're entering as a 3rd year highschool student, I bet you would think the same way. Don't think you can judge me just yet.

I put on my uniform and take a glance at myself on the mirror. My uniform is kind of like a white dress with pink lacing and a pink bow tie on my neck with collars on the side. I cringe, I literally look like a nun on this uniform. Well go figure since I'm entering a Catholic School. Not that I'm complaining. They could've atleast just altered the uniform to make us look more like students than future nuns.

I got out of the bathroom and gather my things to put in my bag and brushed my hair. I don't bother blow drying it. I rather let it be air dry than waste like 10 mins on my hair. I mean, it's just going to school, not a damn wedding. But I do brush it to make it look decent.

"Let's eat" My dad smiles as I got out from the room, looking from the t.v to me while seating at his spot in the table. I put my bag in the occupied chair and sat next to him. We started talking about how will I go to school and go back home. We had this conversation about 3 times last night before going to bed. Annoying I know. But honestly, I don't mind. I remember how to go there of course. I would take a jeep going to pasig then just walk across the long bridge and voila.

"How would you like it if I take you to school every morning instead? But you have to go home on your own" My dad asks.

Oh

"Yeah sure" I smile. He spoils me too much and I appreciate it. I mean, I'm not the type who wants to be spoiled but every time he offers something like this, it's like he already decided everything. Which I don't mind of course.

"Great. Are you ready? It's already 6:15. Your class starts at 7:30am" He says and gulps his water down.

I gulp my water down and nod. My dad gets up and gets his keys from the counter. He waits for me to go with him to the car.

The car ride isn't long. It's just like 30 mins? I assume since I did look at my watch everytime we pass some streets. I know my dad knows his way around this place but for my sake, he follows the jeep that I should take going to school. Just to be sure he says. I smile at him and took mental notes in my head of every establishment we pass.

I can see it. It's that pink building in the corner. The school's emblem is as clear as gold. Well not literally gold. The color is brown actually. I just want it to sound as if you're reading a novel. I hope it did. I pick at the loose skin on my finger as every second we get near my school. The school is not that big. But it's big enough to hold a lot of students. Maybe about 700? I don't know. I didn't research how many students go there. I mean, who actually does that before the first day of their school.
