Khloe
I remember lying in the snow, a small red spot of warm going cold
Surrounded by someone, something.
They were licking me, biting me.
Ice swayed from the tree branches above as they huddled around me blocking at the clear view of the moon.
The musky smell of their coats made me think of wet dog and burning leaves pleasant yet terrifying.
Their tongues melted my skin there careless teeth ripped at my sleeve and snagged through my hair.
I could have screamed, but I didn't.
I could of fought, but I didn't.
I was numb, as I watched the winter white sky go grey above me.
I hear a noise faintly, the licking stops, the biting stops the tearing at my clothes all stops. My eyes were closing it was all fading.
I was being dragged along the snow, stopping then starting stopping then starting till it all stopped, there was a thudding noise on the ground as a shadow fell over my head I slightly opened my eyes his yellow eyes locked onto mine.
I held onto those eyes as long as I could, yellow.
And up close flecked brilliantly with every shade of gold and hazel, I didn't want him to look away and he didn't. I wanted to reach out and grab ahold of him but my hands stayed curled on my chest, my arms frozen to my body.
I couldn't remember what if felt like to be warm, something seemed to flutter in my chest as my eyes fell closed, there was no sun there was no light I couldn't remember what the sky looked like, but I didn't die.
I was lost to a sea of cold, and then I was reborn into a different world with warmth.
I remember this: his yellow eyes
I thought I'd never see them again.
