Shikoba x Reader (wolf)

Part I: The Encounter!

Today was the day! You were going to go out on a 'hunting', as you told your pack mates, but really you were going to explore! You wanted to see the hybrids instead of the normal wolves. Excitement spread through your body like a wildfire as you put one shaky paw after the other. You loved nature- you felt close to it. It seemed to be a part of you. As you drew near the border, unaware, you felt a chill. There was no breeze, but you felt cold. It was like eyes were burning into your fur... You didn't like it. You were scared, so you had stopped. There was a rustle ahead of you, and you spotted the source of your discomfort- red eyes. Spooked, you turned tail and fled. "Hey- Wait!" You heard someone say and slid to a stop. You looked back to see an orange hybrid. "Hey! I'm sorry that I scared you!" The hybrid said as he caught his breath. "Hey- your a purebred! That's so cool!" He said, his red eyes bright as he studied you. "Uh, thanks?" You said, no longer scared, but confused. 'Why is he being so nice? I don't like it, it's so suspicious...' You thought to yourself. You studied him, too. He had white wings and a dragon tail. He even seemed pretty cute. You watched him playfully move around, unable to keep still. "Gah, this is soo exciting! What's your name? I'm Shikoba, or Koba for short!" He said happily. "Oh, I'm ~name~, nice to meet you, Shikoba." You said softly. Maybe he wasn't so bad after all?

After a few hours of playing and hunting together, the sky started to grow dark. You smiled at Shikoba. "It's getting pretty dark, shouldn't you be heading back, ~name~?" Shikoba asked you. With a sudden gasp, you nodded. "Oh, your right!" You said, starting to panic. "I'll take you back! Your a...StarTwister, right? That's your pack?" You nodded, and he smiled. "Good. Come on!" He put his tail on your shoulder and happily walked forward, towards your pack. "What if a patrol sees you?!" You said worriedly. "Oh, they can't do anything! Hybrids are free roamers, we don't have packs or anything. I chose to hang around your pack because it's such a nice place!" He smiled back at you. "It's okay, really. Your leader trusts me." He promised, making you feel calmer. "Okay. You must know the area pretty well, then. Where are the best hunting spots?" You asked. You knew that having the spots marked in your head would be of great help for your pack, since it's so big. "I'll show you tomorrow. Right now, you need to get home!" You can tell that he was maybe a year older than you. You and him were both very young, like a small nofur. It was quite nice to be around him, you felt. He was so happy and trustworthy... Could this become a bigger relationship than what it is now in the future?
