Sitting around in a boring, old smelling house, Dane kept thinking about ending his life with one blow of his gun. Something was keeping him from doing that, his friends and brothers. He loved them too much to put them through the pain. He couldn't stand seeing them in pain that would cause in the future of ending his life. Dane Loogan, loved them too much. His father abused him, his mother left them because she was just as abused as them. She left when he was just a small child. He missed her. He honestly did. He kept thinking there was hope..just a small chance of getting hope in life.
Dane walked to school, with a friend of his. Jackson Delco. His kind, soft hearten friend was just the dude he had looked for. Even though they weren't THAT close, he still loved hanging out with him. As for the same with Jackson. Jackson never wanted to lose such a great friend that he met. They would usually hang out with another friend or two, but mostly they were the close ones. They never thought of dating each other. Since, they both knew that it wasn't able to be accepted. Dane's brothers both had male lovers. Not him, nor Jackson. Jackson was a foster with no family. He never had a love life. Or ever really planned to until him and Dane became best friends. They did have benefits. Having small cuddles, saying inappropriate comments to each other, even quick kisses. The two knew what would happen if they told anyone. Especially since every one thought Jackson was a wuss puss. He was afraid of almost everything. Even a dog barking at him would make him jump. It wasn't necessarily his fault, his parents were to careful and never wanted him to get hurt when he was young. Dane usually thought it was adorable and would always have to calm him down. He didn't mind it at all. Neither of them did. They loved each other.

As they walked home from school, Jackson couldn't stop talking about how embarrassing it was that he screamed so loud making the school walls shake. Dane just laughed.
"It isn't funny at all!!" Jackson yelled.
"Yeah it was, besides, I wasn't there to witness it." Dane chuckled as they walked down.
"Hey, Jackie...ya' don't mind if I stay at your house tonight do ya'?"
"It's alright. I wouldn't mind it at all." He smiled. Dane just looked away, feeling upset from why he wanted...no, had to go to Jackson's house. His damn father never welcomed him. Only his brothers. Never him. Never.
"Thanks..."
"Come when ever you'd like." He held out a key to Dane. Dane faced him amd took the key without hesitation. "Thanks, Jackie-Chain."
"Please don't call me that.."
"Aha, sorry." Jackson sighed softly.
"It's alright... anyways, how has your father been treating you-" he felt a hand intertwined with his, clenching his hand tightly.
"I don't want to talk about it..." Jackson saw his bright blue eyes darken. He knew he could slash out at any moment if he'd asked about more things containing his father. Jackson nodded, "I understand."
The two arrived home shortly. Jackson slowly pulled out his keys, opening the door.
"H-home at last..." rephrasing what his own father used to say.
"Yeah, thanks again, Jackson... this means a lot," Dane looked at him, smiling just a bit. Jackson smiled softly towards the larger man.
"I said it wasn't such a big deal."
"Yeah, it pretty much was, Jack." Dane walked in slowly, letting the remembering sweet smells of the house fill his nostrils.
"Cinnamon, eh?" He turned back at his best friend.
"I thought I'd switch it up this time." Taking off his shoes by the door, Jackson as well smelled the cinnamon that welcomed him home.
"I see..." Dane chuckled softly and fell into the soft tan like sofa.
Jackson gave a soft smile, sitting next to him.
"I believe we should start on our homework now, Dane."
"Already!? We just got here!"
