        <There Is A Cause>

   It was the first day of school. We were in a new environment, a new school year. The grade six class was said to be the example for the rest of the students and we were expected to fulfil that legacy. Well at first we were told by our class teacher Ms.David, that every school year is what you make it. She said that you as an individual entity of the classroom contributes to absolutely nothing relating to anyone else, but yourself. With a mindset based on Ms.David's lecture we were determined to indeed make this school year what we intended it to be, because in truth and in fact you can't resort to blaming all the faults in your life based on the things around you. Though these things have an effect on you they cannot tear you apart. Only you allow it to tear you apart!

   During the school year there were of course sine students who took absolutely no heed to Ms.David's counsel . Those who did were rewarded accordingly and those who failed to listen to wise instruction paid the price. On the release date of the common entrance examinations results those who did not work efficiently cried and sobbed and cried whole day long, weeping on their results. Really I don't understand why would I cry when I to myself, deep down inside I didn't even try!

   This time around if year, during the third term we plan for our graduation ceremony. Since with guidance of a well organized teacher, we had already planned our theme and colors all in advance. So now we only had to practise and do some finishing touches, allowing us to have ample time on our hands to make every second of the ceremony perfect! If we just fast forward a bit today is the 7th of July, Graduation!

   It Had been a very hot day. The graduation ceremony had just began, drawing citywide attention to the cathedral. The  slow tune aroused the listeners placing all focus to to the us the graduates. I was not too far from the front of the line but still not too far from the back. I stood in the middle. Thinking of it I was never at the top but still not at the bottom, while Kai my best friend was always top in the class. Kai was the kind of kid you could look up to. School wise, he was a well rounded kid and as hard as it is to believe I was his rival in science and in I.C.T. Although I was not in the top for subject recognition I was Kai's only competition. As the tune mellowed our ears we began walking down the isle. I was taken away into my mind as if like a vision showing vividly  memories of my past. I remembered the times I faltered and the times I fell by the way and landed on my  face. The times when only a true friend lifted me up and the times when I was an inspiration to others around me. As I walked down the isle, step by step I walked through my past life and then just as I got a glimpse of my future I was interrupted.......
