Chapter 1: family problems

Ugh it's been hard ever since Garroth went missing, Vlyad got himself killed and Zane went insane (haha that rhymes). Mother is always there for me but Zane does not appreciate this and from being the youngest in the family and good hearted father hates me and can't wait until I move out. To be honest, neither can I

Mum and I were sitting in the castles dining hall looking at photos of the good old times. It was quite peaceful with Zane and father gone (they were out to do lord business). We were enjoying the quietness as much as we could and we were talking about stuff dad would never let us talk about like friends from school and random things like that. With dad around politics and lord business was only aloud except from Zane.

*TIME SKIP*

I was sitting in bed when I overheard mum and dad arguing about respect and thinking about others. I miss Vlyad and Garroth so much.

*FLASH BACK STARTS*

" no please Vlyad don't do it, stop!" I cry

" kill me just what ever you do don't hurt them" Vlyad pleases

Tears start streaming down my face

The deamon warlock struck his sword at Vlyad but he dodged it

"Ha you think I would let you do that" Vlyad struck the demon warlock with his emerald green sword. The deamon fell to his knees, he looked down in pain and then looked back up at Vlyad with with an evil grin. He stabbed Vlyad in the heart Vlyad fell, breathless

"No.. No no no VLYAD!" I screamed, I ran to him and held his hand

"Ella" he splattered "I.. I love you...." His eyes closed and his hand went ice cold, my eyes went blurry from tears "no, no Vlyad please, please" Garroth walked up to me

"Ella he's gone, there's nothing you can do..... Come with me"

"What?" I was so confused, what does he mean

" I can't stand dad and his blood thirty need for money and power, I'm running away. Come with me we can go and live a free life"

" but what about the Scaleswind truce?"

"Ella, do you honestly think I would ever want to be forced into marrying the daughter of the lord of Scaleswind. No Way! Just please come with me"

".. No I... I can't mum needs me I know it, she can't handle Zane and dad together not after Zane decided to follow dads footsteps"

"Fine ok but promise me you won't tell them I ran away, if they ask just say after Vlyad died you couldn't find me and I was gone, ok?"

"Ok" I sniffled

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

"It's all because of your 2 bloody sons that she is good hearted, she's just like you and those two. It's a good thing they are gone, at least Zane knows how to run a village properly, he's better then all three of them put together" I heard dad scream

"You'll never know what it's like to live a happy and peaceful life." I could hear mum crying

I started to cry, I couldn't sleep.

I eventually cried myself to sleep. That's it, I can't take it any more. I have made up my mind.
