I died?

Hey my name is Kenta Akushi and today was what was supposed to be the day I finally confess to my childhood crush, Mia Akisuji. Sadly I never got the chance.

"Ugh what the hell is that noise." I reach toward the annoying device that was ruining my sleep. I miss a couple of times but manage to finally stop it. Getting up and sitting on the side of my bed, I check my phone. "Oh god I have to get ready!" It was my first day of highschool and it was the day I was going to confess to Mia. I hurry to the restroom, brush my teeth, head back to my room to change, and head towards school.
On my way there I meet up with my best friends in the world, the twins Tatsuya and Mia Akisuji. The twins and I have been together since grade school.
"Hey guys what's up!" I said trying not to die from exhaustion. "What took you so long the bell is gonna ring?" replied Tatsuya with a smirk on his face. "Guys we have to go now or else we will be late on our first day in highschool." said Mia with a frown. "Fine come on Kenta lets go." said Tatsuya. I grinned and we started on our way.
As we passed an alleyway, we heard loud and rapid footsteps heading in our direction. When we turned our heads toward the sound what we saw was a hobo sprinting towards us as if he was heading towards salvation. It seemed he was heading towards the twins. While in shock at the sight, I noticed a slight gleam in his hand. I quickly realized what it was and managed to push them out of the way. Due to me pushing them out of the way, I was right where they were before I pushed them and got stabbed by the hobo. After stabbing me, the hobo immediately ran away still grasping the knife stained with my blood.I thought to myself,"So this is how I go out, dammit I didn't even get to confess yet."As I lay on the ground bleeding out, I can hear the muffled sounds of Tatsuya yelling at me, telling me to not die and Mia's crying. During this I was stuck in a dark room until a light shined. Suddenly everything went quiet and I was in a different room. This room was a blinding but soft white and I realized that I wasn't alone. In front of me was an astounding beauty. When I approached her, she said to me,"Please input your name." "Ok then I will just put Kenta." I replied. She continued,"Confirmed. What race would it you like to be reborn as?" Then a screen popped up in front of me. I thought," Whoa wait is this one of those moments where a person is reincarnated into another world?! I thought this only happened in stories." I scrolled down this list and the races it listed was;

Human

Beast man
Half-human half-beast race. Second best in combat ability. Worst in magic ability. Possesses skills in relation to beast type. Specializes in wind, water, fire, and earth magic.

Close resemblance to humans but just shorter and often more masculine. Good in combat ability. Moderate in magic ability. Specializes in fire and earth magic.

Draconian
Half-human half-dragon race. Best in combat ability. Impressive in magic ability. Specializes in fire, lightning, and earth magic.

Elf
Race that lives with nature. Good in combat ability. Great in magic ability. Specializes in holy and nature magic.

Dark Elf
Race that lives in darkness. Good in combat ability. Great in magic ability. Specializes in dark magic.

Demon
Cunning, deceitful, but beautiful race. Superior in combat ability. Superior in magic ability. Specializes in dark and summoning magic.

Immortal reaper
Undying incarnation of death. Unrivaled in combat ability. Unrivaled in magic ability. Possesses no specialization can use fire, water, wind, earth, holy, nature, dark, summoning, lightning, and chaos magic.

When I read the last one I thought to myself,"Whoa that isn't usually an option in games if I remember correctly." It seemed interesting and fun so I chose it anyway. After choosing my race, the screen faded away and the beauty said,"Welcome to the world of Reygolus."
