How To Be Single

Everyone has their plans after college, some would like to consider taking up their masters degree, find a decent job to support oneself and be the independent person they claim to be, or even run off with the person you think is your soulmate and get married and live happily ever after, If there is such thing as happily ever after.

What about me? Well.. I'm one of those women hoping to be a fraction of those people who get's their happy ending, hindi naman ako yung tipong hopeless romantic na mag-hihintay ky prince charming, i already have a boyfriend who has been with me for the past 5 years, he's not the type who's extravagant when it comes to his partner but he's sweet and he's always there when you need him.  I plan on marrying him someday.

I pushed the glass door of the bakeshop open and immediately felt delighted when the smell of baked cakes wafted the place.

"Ate, magkano po yung triple chocolate na cake?" Lumapit ako sa counter at nagtanong

"P550 pesos po ma'am, pwede niyo po lagyan ng message yung cake" sagot niya sakin.

"Sige ate, pa bili ng isa" dinukot ko ang wallet ko sa bag at kumuha ng 600

"Anong message ang gusto niyo'ng e lagay sa cake maam?" Tanong ng tindera sa akin.

Nag-isip ako ng magandang catch phrase, it's our monthsary after all. " 'Thank you for coming into my life D' ang e lagay mo ate" binigay ko sa kanya ang 600 pesos.

"I received 600 pesos, change 50. Please wait while i get your cake maam" she smiled and went inside the kitchen

I was riding in the elevator bringing with me the cake that i bought earlier with a smile on my face, satisfied with my gift to him, i hope i will be able to surprise him, it is our Monthsary after all.

When the elevator stopped at his floor, i stepped out and merrily walked in the corridor. When i reached his room, i dug my spare key which he gave me and slowly inserted it in the door knob, careful not to make too much noise.

I tiptoed into his kitchen as quietly as I can, and lighted the candle that came along with the cake. I knew he was still in his room asleep because he usually wakes up late.

I creeped into his bedroom, but as i grew nearer, i could hear muffled voices,i could register one voice, i can hear my boyfriends voice and... A woman? I can hear a lot of rugged breathing, as if they were being chased by a dog and moaning?

I opened the door to his room and to say i was shocked of what i saw was an understatement, a naked girl riding the thing in between my boyfriends thigh like he's a freaking horse and my boyfriend moaning like a retard while holding the girls' ass.

It took all my strength not to scream at them, but even though i wanted to scream, my body can't seem to cooperate with my mind, it has seemed that i have lost the capability to speak and to move.

"Ehem" i cleared my throat. Both of them separated quickly and covered their body, they looked like someone caught selling drugs.

"K i can explain" my boyfriend said defensively, he wore his boxer and stood up.

"Oh, you don't need to explain anything, i think i know sex when i see one" i smiled sarcastically at him

"It was an accident, i didn't mean to.." Why are men so stupid to think that women are stupid?

"What? You bumped into her and your penis "accidentally"  entered her vigina? Cut the crap Dong we're done" i said and walked out.

He grabbed my arm before i could walk further "what?! Are you just gonna throw away the 5 years K? It was just a one time thing, i don't feel anything for her, I love you" he gave me that puppy dog stare i used to fall for every time.

I took a deep breath and sighed "yes, i am throwing that away, just like how you threw your penis into that 2nd hand vigina" i yanked my arm away from his grasp and went outside. But before i could reach the door i went back.

"Oh, i forgot something. Happy monthsary honey." I slapped the cake i was holding into his face and walked out. Sayang yung 550 ko, haays.

I unlocked the door of my condo, threw my bag on the sofa, went to my favorite cabinet in the kitchen.

I sat in my bed, holding my buddy for the night.

"Hello Jack, nice to see you again. You and i are gonna have a long night" binuksan ko ang bote at uminom, ilang segundo ang lumipas at pinatulo ko narin ang luha na kanina pa gustong lumabas.

So much for my happy ending.
