Gone

Chapter 1

Marlena's POV

"Jamie!" I shrieked. I wanted to try to catch up to her, but I didn't have the chance to do so. I was too late, the car hit her and ran off.

I ran as fast as I could to the closest neighbours house and dial 911. As soon as they picked up I told them everything and they came a couple minutes later.

I watched them carry my friend into one of the ambulance's, and then ran up to one of the paramedics.

"Will she be ok?" I asked

"Not for sure," he replied

"She has to be ok we're going to minecon in a week!"

"I'm sorry but I don't know if she will be ok,"

I felt the tears running down my face its been our dream to go to minecon together to meet Jason, Ty, Jerome, Mitch, I really can't name all of them. But the one who I wanted to meet the most was Adam, I've liked him since I was thirteen.

Jamie also made a promise to me that she would take me to minecon to meet sky one day. She also promised me that she would somehow get him to like me back.

I hopped in my car. Driving to the hospital hoping my friend would be ok.

When I got their I ran into the hospital and saw them take her into one of the rooms. I followed and sat down beside her.

Then I noticed a scar on her face. It looked almost like a scratch but it wasn't.

I wanted to cry knowing that my best friend, the one who I called my sister could die. But crying is the last thing I would do. I would make her even more worried then she already is.

"Hey," I stammered "how are you feeling?" I asked her.

She fluttered her eyes and gave me a quick glance.

"Done," she whispered.

"No!" I scolded "you are not done."

Then she gave me a faint smirk.

"Guess what?" she asked faintly

"What?" I replied back.

"I will always keep my promise,"

Then I looked up at the heart monitor and it started to beep clearing that my best friend is gone.
