Chapter 1

Athena's Pov:

The wind was breezing through my hair making it a little chilly as I admired the scenery infront of me. Such a beautiful sight it was, the water flowing with great speed, was so clear, it was like i could see my reflection in it. The roaring sound of waves which i enjoyed so much was present as well, it felt like i was in heaven, a beeping sound appeared and

"Ughh", the constant nagging sound woke me from my amazing dream, I guess that's it good as it gets. Shit, I was late, again, this being probably the fifth time i'm late to class. I seriously had to fix my sleeping schedule. I'm a sophomore in college. Looking over, i realized my roommate had already left, sighing i got up from my warm, cozy bed, only to be greeted with the horror that stood before me, myself. Saying i looked ugly in the morning was an understatement, i looked monstrous, maybe even worse. Hm, maybe i didn't look that bad, i just have to fix my hair is all. I groaned realizing i was late again and quickly did my necessities and changed. My breakfast only consisted of a granola bar, sometimes not even that.

After my classes, I went back to my dorm and changed for my first job, yes first, meaning i had two. My parents were sending me money but recently,thanks to my luck, they called saying they coudn't be sending as much miney as before, therefore, i had to, now, work two jobs to support myself and save up for my debts. All this and taking classes was a hassle but i had no option, i mean not every girl gets a sugar daddy to pay for college right. Needless to say, I didnt have much friends, just a few who i talked to occasionaly.

I finally finished my first shift at the diner, i always had some time before my second one, so i used that time to study in a nearby park. It remained almost empty most of the time, not many people liked it here, the swings and slides were mostly broken, thats probably why. I for one, enjoyed it here, there was peace and quiet, like i enjoyed. This was one of the reasons i stayed up so late at night and despised myself the next morning, i enjoyed peace and silence, where i didnt have anyone judging me, i didnt have anything to worry about,just me and my thoughts alone.

I snapped out of my thoughts as my alarm started beeping, i'm a very forgetful person, so i use an alarm for basically everything. I grabbed my things, and walked to the bus to get to my next job. I worked at a fancy ass restaurant, i was hesitant on working there at first, considering i'm clumsy as hell, but my friend urged me too, besides i needed the money. The bus stopped, indicating my destination was here, I hurriedly rushed in and grabbed my notepad and pen, ignoring the look i got from the manager,of course i was late, as usual. He jotted his pen to a table full of boys, only I would have to do this, knowing myself i will definatly do something awkward.

As i arrived at the table, i noticed that all of them were very attractive and looked around the age of twenty one or twenty two, only a couple years older than me.

"Hello, my name is Athena, i'll be your host tonight." As if on cue, all of them looked up at me, damn, they were hot. Shut up Athena. I really have to stop these thoughts while i'm working.

"Hey pretty", one of the boys said while eyeing me up and down. I was wearing a black skirt that stopped right above my knees and a white button up shirt. I hated- no, despised perverts. My shift had just started and i was already annoyed. Sighing internally, my eyes scanned the table, then landed on him.
