*********************************** "What do you want?" He whispers even though I can still hear him.
"The only thing I want is what we had", I say, through the tears that are threatening to spill over. No. No not yet. Don't cry now.
Thunder turns and gazes into the sunrise then back at me. "What makes you think we had something? "He snorted. I was surprised. He was regretting our decision?! Our pup?! The first time I saw him comes to mind. It was when the border patrol found him and brought him back to our camp. They had chained him up and he was tired from fighting, I thought he was just another wolf that wanted to see if the Outlaws were real. Then, once he turned and our eyes met, I could see he wasn't giving up. He was waiting for the right time to strike.
" I know we had something because the first time I saw you, I saw the fire in your eyes. And I knew I had the same fire. I saw that you we're tough and could handle anything I threw at you. I guess I was wrong and I should have just left you alone", I explain, "That would have been the safe thing to do, but me? I don't do safe. And I'm glad I don't. Because I would have passed up on the best, craziest, dangerous ride I've ever been on. And I loved every minute of it."
He then turns to me, and, for the first time since we landed he really looks at me and we jut stare at each other for a while and I see some of the old Thunder I used to know coming back. Then he chuckles, almost as I to himself " There's the iceberg I thought was small and safe once, and then there's the iceberg that I found was strong and dangerous and beautiful. I'm glad I hit the iceberg to find out what's inside."
We both smile and go into each others shoulders and hug there. "I'm so so so sorry. I'm just so afraid of losing you I push you away so I dot have to feel the pain of life without you."Thunder says.
As we pull away ,he asks "So.... Where do we go from here? "
I reply with a smirk, "Oh, I thought you'd never ask. "
*********************************OK! That's the first part! I know y'all will have alot of questions on the story but just ask me and I might make a part explaining the back story.... Hopefully I can remember it!
