I got to see the stars disappear.
How the deep night sky paled in comparison to the blue that surrounds our magnificent sun, a star in all it's glory.
It cast a rainbow in the sky,
Across the horizon and stretching into the heavens.
Silhouetting the vast landscape,
Giving said landscape beauty such as its distant brothers and sisters could not.
Soon the whole sky had paled from the deep black-blue of night to the radiant sky of day,
Eliminating all other light sources,
Greedy in its ambition to be magnificent.
But it is kind,
Taking its time to rise,
It gives us,
It's undeserving subjects,
Time to arise.
Wisps of cloud lie in its wake,
A stairway to its rightful throne in the heavens.
