Melanie Ramirez is a normal 20 year old girl. She wakes up every morning and goes to sleep every night. She loves singing and performing and she lives in the small town of Palo Alto. She's obsessed with the band IM5. Her YouTube channel is literally full of covers of their songs.
...But little did she know that someone was listening.

Ugh. Another boring, normal day, Melanie thought.
She quickly hit her alarm and it fell off the table.
Whoops looks like I'll have to buy another one. Oh well... It's not like it's the third one this week pshh..
She sat up and swung her legs to the side of her bed.
She went to her bathroom and took a shower. After, she brushed her teeth and dried her hair.
She put on a jean button up, black denim pants and white converse.

Might as well look presentable, Melanie thought to herself.
She set up her tripod and turned on her camera. She started her usual intro and recorded her cover of Heartless by IM5.
After she was finished she edited and uploaded the video. She sighed and thought, What has my life come to... Nobody's gonna watch this stupid video.
She took out her phone and checked if she had any messages.None. As usual. She sighed again and put in her favorite playlist.
The song Dangerous Woman by Ariana Grande came on. That was Melanie's go-to song. (Other than Heartless of course.) Melanie closed her eyes and started humming to it. "-you make me feel like a dangerous woman", she sang.
*GRRRRRRRUMBLE*
Melanie looked down at her stomach and looks like she's a *bit* hungry. Oh who is she kidding, she's starving.
Melanie got up and grabbed her keys, phone, wallet, sunglasses and bolted out the door. She started her car and drove to Starbucks.
"I'll have one double chocolate chip frappuccino and a butter croissant please"
"Thanks"
She drove home and checked her YouTube account.
"HOLY CRAP 200,000 VIEWS ALREADY??!" She said with her mouth full.
She was looking through the comments when a certain one caught her eye...
