Another busy day at the grocery store. Evelynn just finished bagging up her last customer's groceries before going to her next hour on the samples station.

"Great, now I gotta deal with greedy people who take a shit ton of samples." She grumbled under her breath.

"Hey, Evelynn! Positive attitude. Don't wanna scare our customers away with your grumpy ass." A coworker chimed in. Guess she wasn't as quiet as she hoped.

She cringed a bit. She really did dislike some of these people. Her mood soon changed when she saw her big, buff, blonde boyfriend walk into the store.

"Thor!" Evelynn chirped.
"Evelynn, my dearest. I brought you a coffee in hopes that it would better your day."

She blushed mildly at the kind gesture. He really did know how to make her feel good.

"Thank you, love." Evelynn smiled and hugged her man before rising on her toes to give him a quick peck on the lips before he went back to the tower.

He smiled and turned away. Not too long after, he recieved a phonecall.

"Lady Jane! How are you?" Thor boomed.

Gosh, Evelynn wanted to puke. It seems after her and Thor became an item that Jane Foster had been calling him and hanging around more and more.

"Yes, I would love to meet you for lunch." Thor said softly. Evelynn wanted to go up there and scream for her to leave him alone but she just turned away and went to the samples station, grumbling slightly.

"Remember Evelynn! Positive attitude!" Her coworker whispered.

I made the reader work at a grocery store because thats where I work. It made it a lot easier to write a beginning to this. The samples station is something I have to work and I do have an annoying coworker that always badgers me on my attitude lmao.
