Being the new kid doesn't have many perks. You get stared at, get asked questions, or get criticized. None of which really appeal to me.
My comfortable level is based upon how many people are around me and if I can't defend myself if they provoke me.
I was always the outcast in school ever since I was younger. But, that's how I always like it. No drama for the most part, till someone just has to get smart with me. That's a no holds bar.
"Tch" I said as I heard my alarm going off. I knew today was the day that I start at the new school. I moved after my parents died in a car crash not too long ago. They left everything to me, and me being sixteen and refusing to go into foster care, bought a house and moved.
I sighed as I got dressed putting on ripped skinny jeans and a Sleeping with sirens T-shirt. I brushed my (h/l)(h/c) leaving it down and putting on only mascara and eye liner. Then I grabbed a monster, my cigarettes and my school bag and started the long walk to get to Sina high.
After around fifteen minutes, I made it to the school. I looked at the large stair case and smirked watching people be out of breath trying to walk up. I easily ran up the stairs. I was used to running from boxing classes, this was nothing.
Once I made it to the top of the stairs I stopped and looked around... People were staring, not that I care. I was about to go inside till a arm pulled me back. I growled, looking behind me.
There stood a boy, with hair two different tones. I raised my eyebrow at him.
"I just wanted to ask if you fell from heaven?" He said while blushing.
"So you're calling me Satan?" I asked with a smirk. His face was priceless.
" No no no no that's not what I meant at all." He said worriedly.
"Save it horse face. Save your hormonal pickup lines for a dumb twit who'll fall from 'em. Damn pervert." I said walking inside, I heard people laughing I smirked a little bit before my face became emotionless again.
"Excuse me? Are you (y/n)?" A voice asked I turned around and was met with green eyes.
"Yes I am.. Why does it concern you?" I said annoyed.
"My name's Eren and I'm here to show you around. Oh and that was Jean outside. Haha he does look like a horse." He said smiling.
"Just tell me where the weight room is and the roof and we'll be fine." I said with almost no emotion.
He nodded and laughed. I raised an eyebrow.
"What's so funny brat?" I asked more annoyed. But he just laughed more. I growled and he stopped.
"You act just like Levi." Eren said laughing again.
"I honestly don't care about another pathetic brat. So please show me to the roof before my foot becomes your face." I said pissed. Eren was shorter than me, and I only had my converse on. I smirked when his eyes widened and he scurried in the direction of the roof.
The door to the roof was by the weight room which I found amusing.
"You can go now Eren." I said rubbing the bridge of my nose, he nodded and ran off.
I made a mental note of where everything was and went to first period.
I walked through the door, a lady with glasses looked at me like a creep.
"You must be(y/n) why don't you introduce yourself?" She said with a grin.
"Don't need to you already did." I said rubbing the bridge of my nose.
"Well tell us about yourself. Oh and by the way I'm Miss Zoë." She said getting closer to me.
"But you can call me Hanji, no need for formalities." She said getting closer.
"Listen shitty glasses get the fuck outta my face before my hand becomes apart of it. And I don't feel like it." I said backing up. She only started laughing.
"Take a seat by Levi. You two will get along just fine." She said wiping a tear coming from her eye, probably from laughing too hard.
The only empty seat was in the back by a short boy with a raven haired undercut. I made my way back there receiving a glare from a girl with ginger hair.
"And your fucking problem is?"I said to her. She looked shocked, she didn't say anything.
"That's what I thought, brat." I said finally taking a seat next to Levi. He looked at me and smirked.
"That was Petra Ral. She's so damn annoying." He said running a hand through his hair. I smirked.
"I like you already." I said, " and that coming from me should be taken as a huge compliment." I said emotionless. I noticed a faint blush on his cheeks, but shrugged it off.
"Not too bad yourself." He said looking away.
I sighed and took out paper. I began to take notes on shitty glasses teaching. After a while I noticed Levi's stuff on the desk not organized. My eyebrow twitched.
In an instant I organized everything on the desk so it wasn't messy. He looked at me shocked.
"Your stuff was unorganized brat." I said glaring at him.
"Tch." He said and looked away again but I saw him smirking. The bell rang and I began to make my way to the next class. Then the next and the next.
They stuck me with shorty every time though I didn't mind he wasn't annoying like everyone else who tried talk to me. I just didn't answer them and glared till they went away. I growled making my way to the roof at lunch. I needed a cigarette break.
I sat down in the ledge and lit a cigarette. I heard the door open and close. I didn't bother to turn my head to see who it was. Then I saw Levi sitting next to me.
He looked at me and after a while spoke.
"Can I get one?" He said softly.
"Sure shorty." I said handing him one. He growled.
"I am like six inches taller than you Levi. Chill its just a nickname." I said standing up to prove the point.
"Then to your nickname is big ass tree." He said smirking.
"Whatever." I said lighting the cigarette for him. I sat back down and he did the same.
"Let's ditch." I said after finishing the cigarette.
"Sure. Your place though." He said after a while.
"Is the "mean old Levi" not being mean for once?" I said smirking. I mean I just met the damn kid today, I Dont really know much about him. He rolled his eyes.
"Shut up brat. Lead the way before I change my damn mind." He said scowling. That's when I did something that I haven't done in months. I laughed.
