" Maya farkle hasn't talked to us once this summer.. "

The two girls head to high school not knowing what was ahead of them.
Riley meets up with her boyfriend, Lucas Friar..the bad boy of middle school. Riley kisses him on the cheek..as they hold hands as Maya goofs around and makes gagging sounds.
Once they arrive at the high school, they walk in seeing a familiar face..and Riley runs up to him..Farkle Minkus..the loyal bestfriend?
" Hey Farkle? Why didn't you show all Summer? "
" Uhm? Sorry..not now klutz.. "
Farkle walks off..leaving a sad Riley standing confused on why Farkle would say that.
Wow..Riley thinks.
She walks off to class yet confused but decides to forget about what he said still very hurt..but she had to admit Farkle looks different..kind of attractive? Riley shakes her head reassuring herself that she's with Lucas.
