His P.O.V.
Waves of honey brown hair fell around her white creamy skin, as she sucked in a deep thinking breath as if she didn't already know the answer. But she did she knew it like the words themselves were touching every inch of skin she had. Her full lips curved into a half smile as she pretended to not know anything about the novel she's read in that very seat twice this year. She's smart but acts dumb to please her ego.
"Umm.. Can you please repeat the question?" Her voice shook with anxiety but still remained so tenderly innocent.
She heard him loud and clear the first time but I'm making her so nervous she can't think straight and I fucking love it. I don't even know her name but she still lets me play tricks on her mind as I watch her.
I shifted my weight in my seat keeping eye contact with her just to prove a point. She's pretty enough and I guess I could see myself spending a little time outside of class with her but nothing more than a little fun. I don't due dates and I sure as hell don't do girlfriends, to much drama and clingy isn't exactly a craving of mine.
"What baffled you the most about the relationship between Elizabeth and Darcy from the beginning to the very end of the book, Ms. Winslow?" His voice is slow and thick like he could use some damn spit.
Her baby pink cheeks flushed as she got the nerve to speak the answer.
Her breath is unsteady as her breast rise and fall with each slow intake of air. She's freaking out because her grades this year are low, much to low to pass without making an outrageously good grade today.
"Darcy had pride." She paused thinking about what she would say to this man, that would pass or fail her depending on what she said today.
"Way to much for there own good. Elizabeth wanted what she couldn't have because she's overly drawn to Darcy because she wanted what she though she would never have. I'm surprised they ended up together after all that they went through, they deserved differently."
I knew her words right then would piss him off. Her thoughts are much more logical than his hopeless romantic love in the mist bull shit.
He paced over to the end of her desk placing a hand over her overly read copy of the book. I bet she read it twenty times to make sure she would pass this test with flying colors today.
"Why would you say they deserved different? Everything worked out in the end." He's eager for her to change sides and take the book from his position.
"Darcy deserves someone just like him. Yes it was good after the fact. But what about the middle story? He was never good enough for Elizabeths kindness and love. What about the pain and damage that took place throughout the book. She deserves someone much better than him." Her voice was firm. He looked as if he still did not care what her opinion was.
He paced away from her desk finding his seat back by the white board. Looking at the clock he began to write a start and stop time on it in big purple letters.
" Begin your essay's, you will be timed to fifty minutes. Write wisely." The shit head smiled back at her like he would fail her on purpose. Not that I really give a damn.
