I was a part of a rebellious group called the grey knights. We rebelled against an overpowering tyrannical government. I fought in many battles and was one of the best. I remember the last battle. It was midnight and we were trying to defend a school full of children in the middle of a city, the building was huge. We gathered up so many of our people and flew in on what looked like falcons from Halo. A part of our group assaulted the enemies skyscraper across the street while i was tasked with defending the kids. Upon landing, they blew up a few of our transports so we brought them up against the school building and out of the line of fire. Most of our people went into the school while we had a squad guarding the entrance. Before i was able to enter the school a black woman walked out of the school and tried to stab a kid in front of me. I was able to stop her and she ran. As she ran i saw a timer on her back, 11 seconds. I turned around and frantically told the officers still in front of the school. Before i could finish the smaller sections of the school blew up and crashed to the ground with kids inside. I ran, the skyscraper part of the school collapsing behind me. I ran down a street away from the city covered in old street lamps. The screams of children and destruction in my ears. I looked over to see a few knights running along with me. I knew we had lost the battle and that they would be trying to find us next. I look to see only one working truck at the top of the street where we stopped. I had to make the decision of who to take with me. The knights, or a few of the kids. I couldn't save them all. I woke up.
