"Now there ain't no reason to be scared." Mum said in a harsh tone, obviously irritated with my constant cry and such I'm sure little me was doin'. "Your Uncle Ginn agreed kindly to take care of me, even when I be bringing you."
My mum was very sick... I remember her talking about my uncle Ginn, him being our only family left on this side of life. And she was grateful to the Most High for allowing the last member to be a doctor.
"Since you been here, I hadn't come visit him. Now... he ain't like no regular person. You ne'r seent him but don't be havin' no buzzard wasp eyes about him, you hear?"
I heard mum clear as day but when he opened that door I screamed loud as all earth.
